'potentially'?
You choose a team desperate for fan support, with huge backers who can take the hit.
We can't, we play the World Club Champions and havn't increased prices.
I wouldn't be amazed how cheap it was to watch premiership football, because I know. I'm not a moron, or naive.

| The negativity on this board really gets on my tits, people ( always the same ones ) can't wait for the club to make an announcement so they can get on this board and moan. Make the ticket prices cheaper the crowds will come I hear, last two rounds at home been cheaper than your regular games yet no more came !!! 18/16 pound to watch the world club champions and still they moan, it's the exact same prices to watch hunslet next week ( without the early discount ) you lot do more harm than good, if you have nothing positive to say just keep bloody quiet !!! | The pricing is fine, im certainly not well off by any means, but i'd have sold half the contents of the living room before i missed this one. If you reckon premier league football is better to watch, go and watch it instead and stop complaining on here. The part time fans about leigh these days probably wouldn't pay anything more than a tenner to get in for the main reason that theyre simply not that interested! Generate interest, and excitement and you can charge whatever you want! It's all down to marketing, lets face it, if people want it enough, they make money available to do it.

| I just want us to make loads of money and then the stay away have no excuses why they aren't attending.
I can hear them saying Im not paying that, to watch um put 100 past us. I know this because thats exactly what my Dad would say.
Ill pay whatever it costs and yes we get more value for money then watching wendyball as you call it, just wanted us to not miss out on this match to get as much in the bank as what we can.
Anyway hope we get the crowd the tie deserves.

And £40m guaranteed in the bank from Sky. It's not a fair comparison, simple as that. Especially when you consider that BWFC's crowds have declined from 5-10 years ago despite drastically reducing prices.

| Bolton have cheap offers when they're playing lesser sides. When the Champions roll up its full whack, East Lower is £28.
Only Leythers would moan about paying full price when the World Champions turn up for the CC 1/4 Final.
If they don't come then so be it, because guess what, they never will. If it was a tenner they would just find another excuse for not coming.

| Not all football is expensive and in fairness if RL clubs could fill grounds to the tune of 30,000 - 75,000 fans you'd see RL tickets rocket as well.
Our club has worked exceptionally hard at ticketing this season and deserve a lot of credit for the way they are approaching it and the initiatives they are trialing, they are certainly not standing still and are proactive in the way they look at fixtures.
£18/16 and FREE for under 11's is a good deal v Leeds IMHO and I'm glad they didn't hike it up (as that would have been cause for complaint).

| £16 for a dad n lad to watch the world champs in the biggest Leigh game at the LSV, and some whingeing gits are moaning - FFS.
Now I think we do some stupid things on a regular basis but this ain't one of them.
We can get £25k in from corporate on Friday night, the no TV money is a disgrace and I hope the RFL compensate us for this.
Get your tickets or shut up. If any dipstick asks about admission costs then tell em £16 for dad n lad is brilliant, isn't it.

| This thread has lost its reason - "Do We Want A Big Crowd". Personally if I replid first it would of been a big "YES", because it will be great watching Leigh vs Leeds infront of 2000.
WE ARE PLAYING THE WORLD CLUB CHAMPIONS IN THE 1/4 FINAL OF THE CC
Of course we do, they have asked an extra two pound either seated or stood. If your regular like me, think about it, when you hand over your 14 pounds, to stand at the next and every home game when it's empty, what would you rather. If we went into superdooper would the moaners still turn up, because the pricing would certainly change.
My only gripe with the club is, I went to the Reebok on Wednesday, paid 20 pounds for myself and my son in a very busy home end with good amosphere, watching a top 4 placed team in the prem (unfortunately not the trotters). Out of this 20, the team who my son plays football for have been given back to them from BWFC 2 pound per ticket to his club. So that means bums on seats (attendance up, some stupid rule for superdooper) and drinks/food bought, with a return to his club. Are we looking at these ideas with local clubs we have 2 good ones with plenty of youngsters ?
We are not going to please everyone.

| So,just to clarify - the figures quoted are the USUAL ticket prices? (genuinely don't know as myself and Walt Jnr. are ST holders)
Does that mean - as has been asked, that the USUAL pre-purchase discount applies?
Also - do I take it that the Junior ST holders will not be getting free admission (as was the case for the previous two rounds)?
I have genuine reasons for asking, as attending the last two rounds cost £15 for both of us, but it would appear this round will cost £23. Now I know, in the grand scheme of things that 8 quid is neither here nor there - but, as someone who is currently surviving off JSA, I can tell you it makes a huge difference!!

You could well be right (on this occasion )
This statement was part of the press release for the Fax game.
Quote ="Leigh Centurions"Juniors who are season ticket holders of either club will be granted free admission as part of their season ticket package. They just need to produce their season ticket at the turnstile.'"
But I wasn't sure if that applied to the Fax game only or all CC games.

| If thats the case, why dont we go into all the schools this week and give them free kids tickets .
You never now we may get more adults in then, when little JOHNNY goes home, to say he s got a free ticket to go and watch Leigh v The world Club Champions.

| Quite frankly with the 8pm Kick off I think giving tickets to school kids ie under 11's for this tie would not be very productive.

The website says it is free for under 11's by completing a voucher form not just ST holders and Juniors are £5.
Really can't understand people moaning about those prices for a 1/4 final in the CC against the World Champions.
I'm sure if the club came out and said some sponsor has bought every single ticket just to give away to the fans, people would still moan.

| It's not for me personally, I just want to pass the info on, but does anyone know where the 'online vouchers' can be found?
Adults £18.00 (seated) Adults £16.00 (standing); Concessions £9.00; Junior's (12 - 16 year olds) £5.00 and under 11's go FREE. To receive a FREE under 11's ticket,[u simply complete a voucher and exchange it at the ticket office (applicable for every child accompanying a paying adult). Vouchers are available online or at the ticket office[/u
