Hey , United were crap last night, think City fans are forgeting they were in the driving seat and stuffed it up first, and its not over till Sunday 13th May.

So If I was City or anyone else Id wait till at least this Sunday before laughing.

As City fans we have it inbuilt to expect disappointment at the last minute, so it's easy come easy go for us - but the Stretford Redsox fans will be in bits if/when they win sod all!!!

City fans will have to wait a long time, before they are classed as sucessful as United have been .

Brilliant atmosphere last night,Utd fans were very quiet indeed and great to see Mancini giving Fergie some of his own medicine, I love the guy. He controls the players and as to a post earlier saying Utd have team spirit and City don't, keep beleiving that if you want but I saw a team in Blue last night and all season who are a very tight knit bunch of players who will only get better.

We might not win the league but time is on our side and beating Utd will be something a Blue expects not dream about.

By the way it is possible to be a rugby and football fan and I think I'm one of the lucky ones as I can appreciate both and equally enjoyed Leigh on Sunday and going to City last night.

So -push comes to shove - City are playing Utd in a cup semi final. You don't have access to a ticket, but the match is on TV Sunday afternoon......and (just to ramp it up a bit), you have no way of recording the game to watch later....your SKY+ or TIVO is bust.....and you threw your video recorder out years ago!!

Same day, Leigh are hosting Dewsbury in a championship match. This is April, so the season hasn't really settled into it's rythym yet, but Leigh are top four, and Dewsbury are struggling to buy a win.

Leigh game is a 3pm start - the football kicks off at 3.15

Do you go and watch Leigh, or the footy on TV??

I used to go and watch United every week, and try and watch Leigh too . However that was many years ago before United won premiership number one.
Ive seen them win at Wembley and lose there too. These days Id choose Rugby over Football as the games changed, too much diving and cheating in Football these days.
Although theres one thing that Ive always done since being a little girl is follow Man Utd. My grandad supported them and he was my hero, my username is his name.

In fairness your last statement isn't entirely true unless you compare like for like, as I'm sure a run of the mill early season football game would lose out if put against us playing in the Challenge Cup Final

The best teams in PL have been the biggest spenders, which spoiled the competition. Sheikh Mansour has made the impossible possible for us Blues. Roy of the Rovers stuff


We have always known that we are the best team in all the land, even when we was in the third tier. We have just had it rubber stamped and made it official.

We've got a 50/50 house tonight. My partner is a City fan and when I used to watch fuzzball, Bolton were my team. Not just gutted for Bolton but for the North West. Just glad that Wigan stayed up as it would have been disastrous for the area. Having said that we may have got a few more through the gates.
