How much would it cost for a 40ft x 40ft piece of cloth with it on?

Not big enough and wrong type of cloth , plus too heavy

My suggestion would be for the parent(s)/sponsor of each kid to make a minimum donation of ten pounds to LISA/club. That would cover the cost of a tee shirt for each.
I think the original hanky idea is a great one also if printing the tees is problematic. The main thing is as you say, getting it on TV and getting the commentators to talk about it.

Im going do a flag , need ideas what to put on it, asda smart price white sheets are onluy a few quid sew 4 together itll be one big flag.

I'm not against the idea, it's just the unfortunate timing that I see a problem with. In fact I'd say it was a good idea.

Just don't believe the old adage that 'there is no such thing as bad publicity'. Ask the original Northern Rock bank, Ratners They all got free publicity for one reason or another, and none of them did well on the back of it. If we'd not just had the issue with the salary cap, then I'd be 100% behind it. As it is, I'm a little more dubious.
I'd also suggest that forty or fifty people wearing them won't interest the media. If three or four hundred were wearing them, then all well and good.

I'm still struggling with the mental image of the team running out in them, something isn't quite right with that image somehow? Seems to be sending out the wrong image, as if they should be playing in rolled up trousers and a tank top!

From a fans point of view, I like it as a souveneir, but from someone concerned with the clubs professional image.... please lord, no!

How about getting LISA t-shirts for blackpool with the LISA web address on the front and you're forum ID on the back? Do them cheap for about a fiver and LISA gets the profit?
