Already have done , always get the same reply , " Brilliant idea , but you'll never get them all to agree " , because they all let the sport get in the way , or they all say how good a deal they are on , when I ask them , how much they make , they usually reply " not much but we get £8,000 s worth of kit free "

Now Even my 11 yr old daughter understands that nothing in this world is ' free ' , so why can't experienced buisnessmen running sports clubs not see that ?

How about putting a roll of honour on the LISA website for the contributors? If you give to LISA you get your name on the list on the website? Or anonymous or your web name, child's name, pub name, company name etc. That kind of recognition appeals to many.

Of course make it so that people can opt out.

Just a thought.

I posted similar on another thread. Like you say its better to give contributors recognition, and show that others contribute as well. You feel more part of it, rather than just handing money over and thats it. The below example I used is perfect to highlight what is possible. Having a monthly target (say previous highest total) to aim for with counter of how much raised and how much needed.

Good ideas. On the Just Giving website there is always a place to put your name and many do - that says something. We want to be modest about how we help but also it's nice to have it recognised.

It also gives those who have not given a list of names that they want to join. "Oh I didn't realise that he was giving, I'll give as well then." For instance.

Dave is a moderator / council member on the site., I am sure he can put something on the site in a prominent place. I would also imagine that he wants to see Leigh continue playing - more matchdays at the LSV more paydays!

Not sure if everyone ould want their name on the list, but what I will do when this campaign is finished is keep an updated list on file on my computer and anyone who wishes to go on there can let me know.
