The RFL have already stated this this year does count.

I suppose you have a source for that or is just your own opinion? As well I can see the argument in favour of "a level playing field" (oh the irony), it would be bizarre for this season to be completely meaningless from a franchise perspective, and for every 3rd season to be so as well.

We have a semi final coming up, an ideal game to push for an increase in attendances.

I know it puts the 'relegated' team at a disadvantage on the playing side of things but they are probably able to use this season as to evidence of crowds, turnover etc,

I'd say the first thing to push that would be priority on purchasing tickets for the final (should we get there) for those who attend the semi final.

Matt , with a 16,000 capacity , I don't think that will be a problem ?

We really need to promote the semi final - posters up and about, work with the schools like we have done in the past when we have been on tv.

Matt has a point, maybe anyone attending the semi final gets £1 off travel too blackpool if we get there. this way LISA get more people using the coaches. Then go round with a bucket for the club and everyone puts a pound in

a lot of people i know wont go because of the simple things like the hot dogs and crisp you mention.2 or 3 kids adds up.on sunday i bought my 10 yr old a bag of crisp.same price as first game of seasson £1 for a walkers bag of crisp,only difference was first game of season they were a grab bag (large)on sunday they were the ones where you can get 5 for £1 at pound shop (sml bag).sort the little things out and bigger things will follow.
no use putting games down to say £10 adult kids £5 for one game,they may come but will not pay the full wack if theres 4 or 5 of them.family ticket in east stand great idea,but as for refreshments,out of leighs hands.
hope whoever comes in can sort something out with sports village and work out something to suit everyone.

this is why the beer tent suggestion was good, have on pans of lobby/hot dogs ect outside the ground. . .

Except who puts up the tents ? , who sorts out the insurance ? , who decides if there are carrots in the Lobby ?

simple take your own crisps thats what I would do if my kids were of an age, when will people learn if you dont buy the stuff on offer then the prices will have to come down or they will go bust

Easier said than done fred they have helpful stewards searching bags on entry to remove said cheap pop and crisp
