Everyone mentioning about youngsters from Leigh. Well I've been harbouring a thought all season. Our good form is because of all the coaching of course. But lets not forget, this season. I'd say a least 75% of our players come from Leigh. I think this has made a hell of a difference, the players live local and know what the public wants. This is why I think we've battered Widnes and have the run going. The public know we wanted good rugby. Just wonder how much better it must be for the lads to go into the local for a quiet one knowing they're playing well making the public of Leigh happy. Beating Widnes meant so much more to the Leigh lads than it would have done to a few Batley players if we had signed Yorkshiremen. I just wonder how much the locality of the team has impacted this season.
