Yes Mick is sometimes a bit slack in the defence line BUT he always makes up for it ,he did a kick off in 2nd half and they knocked on from it and the abuse was constant ,that last kick makes up for his mistakes in the match alone .A big thanks Mick

A big underestimated part of mick's game is the kick restarts. Not far off 1 per game results in a drop out.
The man is fast becoming a Leigh favourite, and long may it continue I say!

Nanyn the time waster?





It took ninety seconds after the try was scored for Mick Nanyn to attempt the conversion......

This time Nanyn topped the hundred seconds and it was interesting to work out that in some of Leigh's games this season fifteen minutes must have been spent waiting for him to kick. He doesn't miss many though and maybe that is the reason.

Mick actually equates to more playing minutes in a game and not less. The clock is always stopped pretty quickly when he kicks as the refs know (as we all admit) that he takes a very long time to kick. In that way his actual effect on true game time is minimal and probably less than most kickers for who the clock is not stopped. And no I do not have any stats or proof on this, it is just a thought I had.

Did n`t Roby stop the clock............. For what it`s worth I don`t think he takes any longer than Finn but I await to corrected by someone from the Lost World.

watched the game last night, cheers fred, and took notice of the kicking times, flynn was averageing 80 seconds per kick so no difference really, what mick does is his business and long may it continue

After one minute the clock is stopped in any league game, it should be 20 seconds imo, in a high scoring game far too much time is wasted rather than playing the game
