millward says he can play for us on a pay as you play deal, and fight for a contract for next year, my guess will be if he plays a few games for us and does well, then some sl team in need of a decent prop will snap him up, millward also says he wants to play for us, but the finances may not stack up for him, we will just have to see what developes. a question, i assume we have not spent all our cap yet. which is good as it gives us the chance/opportunity to bring 1 or 2 people in during the year.

Sorry to agree with V.M.but he is right on this one,his defence is on par with Nanyns.

Well, we haven't signed him yet - so I'll wait for Basil's judgement. If he thinks Mills is worth the punt, then who am I to disagree?

As regards Nanyn - we all know what his shortcomings are, but Basil obviously weighs that up against the number of points he'll get us a season, and considers it a calculated risk.....either that or we are gonna see a completely different Mick Nanyn this season - which, if the rumours of his weight loss/fitness levels is to be believed, could well be the case.

Either way I'd still take anything Viqueen spouts with a huge sack of salt!!

They are not rumours about Nanyns weight. I saw him at the launch and I am a MN knocker but he looked in good shape.

Must be said that Nanyn had slimmed down during pre-season last year - the key is that he keeps the weight off during the season.

Bit surprised to see Littler in the second row (even though he spent most of last year there).
