regardless what any haven fans says thornley was our most consistent prop last season when we struggled, his defence is good and while not a block busting prop, he makes good yards and has a bit of pace

Adam Jones was certainly my player of the year and deserves a signing IMO.

Adam was in the top 3 performers all year. I think he's a real prospect. Not the biggest of players but never stops, runs some intelligent lines, has an offload and as the poster said he scored several tries last season. I look forward to seeing him progress further.

In a similar vein, Dean McGilvray is described as 'diminutive' on Wikpedia! Also, I hasten to add, it says he has played a number of SL games at Saints and Salford.

Nicky Stanton was much maligned in my view. He was fast' rarely missed a tackle' and' when did he ever get a pass ? Oh hang on I was at York to watch us in the NRC and surprisingly with the fullback to beat his centre passed to his ankles. We have re-signed him and I do not mean the quick one or the fullback.
