Cheers.
Do you know if this is the Junior ST that was a Tenner last year or is that one that the RFL do for all clubs ?

I'd have made ALL kids (16 or younger) 25 quid......but I suppose this would involve a uniform agreement of all the CH/CH1 clubs (assuming they still inc. away games as well??) Does anyone know how those Jnr. prices stack up with the rest of the league?

| Does the monthly repayment scheme only apply to the full price £140 ticket or if you go for the earlybird can you pay monthly?

| The RFL do not do one for all the clubs. The club keeps all the money from the junior tickets and I don't think there is a set figure. The Junior tickets, as far as I know also allow you into away games too so if a primary school child attended all eligible games it would work out at £1 per game.
I have only looked at Fax and Widnes tickets and we are cheaper than them. As for comparison to W£$%n tickets, that may be true, but we don't get a million quid sky money or extensive TV coverage which leads to more high profile sponsorship.
We have this every year...'let the kids in for nowt'.....but I would confidently predict that if we did that....we'd then have....'why can't the parents control their kids' as they hurtle around the North Stand causing mayhem and nuisance. Still at least it would be something different to talk about instead of the same old.

No, the options are pay in full before the deadline for the early bird offer or spread the cost @ £20 per month of the full price offer.
Now thats the pricing done right, great open letter from Arthur so lets see a bit of selling on the back of a signing or two and its up to us fans to spread the word and get a few back.

Thought so!
It's a good idea IMO I would usually go for the early bird but think I may go for the monthly payment option, the club get more money that way as well!

| [i" =#FF0000Following the dramatic climax to 2011 Co-operative Championship season, Leigh Centurions Chairman Arthur Thomas has once again called for the support of everyone in Leigh if they want professional rugby league in the town to continue." [/i
First of all let me state that this is an excellent offer. Just a couple of points though:-
Wouldn't it have been a great incentive to fans, to have linked this with news of a signing or two? I read that some clubs have 'only a couple more signings' (I know - 'newspaper talk') to make, before their squads are complete, yet we seem a tad short of a complete squad yet!
And, on a lighter note, from someone who has regularly been brought to task about proof reading howlers, I notice that Arthur is talking about the dramatic climax to the =#FF00002011 Championship season.' Is this a prophecy, or have I hibernated through a full close season, and new season too?!

Very Important Pupils
From the Clubs posting
1.We need average crowds of 2500
Our average totalled 2309 this year so when the club asks fans to bring along a friend or offers incentives like reductions on general admission prices, through season ticket sales you can see why even one more spectator can make a difference and that we are not so far away in ticking another Super League box
If Leigh had not played those early Thursday matches for sky and red button only viewers and played the games on a Sunday would the average attendance been over 2500?

| Great initiative, well done to all concerned in putting these figures together.
Hopefully we should see more signing up for a s/t at these prices.

| Where did our average crowd of 2300 come from anyway. I don't remember many crowds above that figure but I remember most well below that figure.
It must have taken into account all the dog walkers and swans on Penny Flash

It is correct if you include the friendlies against Wire and that Pie team who we beat.
Our crowds went down in the second half of the season and our lowest was against Keighley because of the England West Germany game.

| Really good offer this and I applaud the club for their forward thinking. I had season tickets for both myself and my 6 year old this year but cant make Friday evenings due to travel, bedtime etc I couldn't make many of the Thursday night games this year but wouldn't really mind missing the odd game if season ticket prices are this well priced. Does anybody know if the club has made a decision on days for next years home games as there would be no point in me getting them if our games were on Friday evenings?

Must admit I'm firmly in the let them in for nothing corner if accompanied by a adult brigade .
However if it was 10pounds last year i'd have given it another go for another few seasons to really see if it works (give it 5 years at the LSV maybe with a gradual increase).
Lets be honest Leigh arn't going to make much on this as the profit margin from Child gate receipts isn't likely to be high.
The amount of money generated by having a child support Leigh is however high for the club and its partners (cost me a additional programme , 2 drinks, a hotdog , a Scarf and now a Leigh top off 'Father Christmas' from 1 visit to the LSV to watch Leigh).
The benefits outweigh the minimal costs for the club and game as a whole.
Looking around the LSV its a ageing crowd, and yes I here what you say about kids running riot but accompanied by a adult should stop it.
The adult ST offer is a fantastic one and I don't wish this to distract from it, but I just hope the club use a effective price structure for children that pay on the day and maybe keep that right down so we can attract new young fans along with maybe doing something with a pay on the day family matchday ticket targetted at the 2+1 2+2 family, maybe that might be worth a serious look.

SKY will want to show us every week so SL fans will know a bit about us for when we win the franchise.
