Guys I am working with Linda and the club at the moment on an initiative that if supported by the fans of Leigh could easily (in my opinion) raise an additional £10k for LISA to give to the club. All being well I will launch this idea either tomorrow or Saturday at the latest!!

We should all do a big sponsered walk through the town centre with scarfs. flags the lot. All money goes to LISA and it gets us some advertisment for new fans.

Spoke to Ian this morning and he informs me £5K would go a long way to securing a player for the rest of this season with a possible option for next, so come on get pledging/ fundraising.

I have got absolutely nowhere I asked how to organise on at the Atherton beer festival and spoke to several people working at the event none could help.I have tried looking on the internet but found nothing to assist although I am the first to admit I am not the best at finding things on a computer.

Regarding pledging to bring in a player who Basil wants I have already indicated I shall contribute. I have no doubt we will be discussing this very soon at either our next LISA meeting or maybe before that.

Ok Guys, I will consider doing a one off RL forecast competition provided you all agree to try and sell it to your mates who in turn sell it to their mates. Now at £1 a throw and 200 entries (I'd want at least that) that would only raise £100 with £100 to the winner. So your options are anywhere between £1 and £5 (£500 raised and £500 towards player fund) a throw now if we go for £3 or above per entry, I could pay 1st, 2nd and 3rd and also have a chunk for anyone who gets a correct score.

Now, one more question, when does this player need to be signed for, as my time is limited due to me getting married on 19th June. Answers/suggestions on here or via PM. Also who's banner could I do it under, I suspect only LISA as they would have the appropriate permissions from the council for draws/raffles etc
