Very physical side are Hunslet as those of you with the DVD of the East game will see.
The March brothers got away with murder on that day and unfortunately East got sucked in.
Saying that they have a good mix of youngsters and vetrans and have a lot of speed out wide they also have a couple of usefull south seas islanders who can mix it and have a lot of skill.

Well I watched Hunslet play Easts in the Challenge Cup.

Should we lose that tie I will go to the following home Leigh game naked. Basil be warned. Mind you I did go to the York away game so I hope we do win and it does not effect the attendance at our following home game if I am wrong.

Could be interesting on the 26 bus if it happens.

After the draw we're now favourites at 2/1.

Best possible draw apart from it being away.

Hope you don't strip in the Goose Frank.

Away for the 20th but if we do get through i am off on the 18th.

So, if we are fortunate enough to win at Hunslet and get drawn away in the semi-final, that will be just =#FF0000one home game in eight weeks, in June/July!

not really as the pitches (all of them) are being re-laid again under the agreement.

Fair enough.

It's a tough draw but if we play in the correct manner, remain professional and don't disrespect them then we should come away with a win. Our fitness and hopefully a higher intensity will see us through.

However, they have the old heads in Chapman & the March's and plenty of point scorers in their side who if we don't do the things above may see to us coming unstuck.

Bet you are glad we did not draw Widnes Barrow Sheffield or Batley away.

We have an impressive pack we will not struggle away at Hunslet.

I am glad we didn't draw any of those sides, however, we can beat anyone in this comp on our day. I just don't want fans and players thinking we have an easy passage through the comp with what the draw has thrown up.

Hunslet will be in the same frame of mind we are, they've defeated a strong Halifax side and performed well in this competition all season and they will fancy their chances of going even further in the competition with a home draw and the other fixtures that have been drawn.

Don't think anyone will think it's an easy passage i would hope they wouldn't anyway, but if we play to our potential we should be ok i think.

Wonder what would have happened if we had been drawn at home? Or, if we get through and are drawn at home in the S/F?

Why though Fred ? , I just dont understand why this is neccessary , is this going to continue every season ? , if it is then whats the point in playing at the LSV ? , we are supposedly the reason it was built , they know we play in summer , not having regular matches at our most profitable time of the year will hold back the club from any momentum , if next season Saints ,W1g4n or Salford want to use it in summer , will they be allowed

Service, just like when you buy a new car, you have seen the state of the pitch? Simon Toon's the man to answer those questions not I, me not having 'green fingers' but my grass doesnt tend to grow well in Winter.

It may well be to do with the under soil and the foundations of the pitch bedding down. This could take a few years. We cant have a pitch with a slope or a dip in the middle can we at our lovely new ground.
