I cannot believe the rubbish posted by the Gateshead fans. One of the main complaints seems to that Leigh fans dared to boo the Gateshead players. I mean who gets so upset by booing that they feel the need to make formal complaints. The only part that you can understand them having a bit of an issue with is the chants containing swearing - but surely thats happens at most ground you go to.

I went to Halifax earlier in the year and the Widnes fans were behind the sticks surrounded by young Fax fans singing anti Widnes / scouser chants and swearing etc. It wasn't pleasant, but it was no great issue. Sounds to me like the Leigh fans travelled in great numbers, were loud and the Gateshead fans didn't like it - maybe even felt a bit intimidated on their own turf.

There was nothing in the fans postings that I found unacceptable and needed to be reported to the RFL. In fact the worst behaviour seem to have come from the Gateshead player, but his actions are being defended by the Gateshead official. As a few Leigh fans have said, the Gateshead fans seem to be in a different world to everyone else. They certainly seem to have led a very sheltered lives.

This referee was probably one of the worst officials I've witnessed in rugby league.With an indecisive nature and clear cut calls rulled out against Leigh this so called official was certainly not fair to say the least and is a joke to be considered a referee! The touch judges being influenced by coaches are signs of their incompetence and should be sacked or at least accessed. At such a crucial stage of the championship survival is paramount and with poor descisions made in any game officials should conduct their work professionally and fairly. Unfortunately sundays match with Gateshead wasn't delt with fairly but due to the fact that Gateshead Thunder record all their games courtesy of Thunder TV this game can be analyzed and hopefully will be delt with.Hopefully the likes of Craig Halloran and others will not be licienced as match officials if they do analyze the footage.

All games in the pro game are filmed and copies have to be at the refs facilitators within two days of the game (one day SL and three days CH1) failure to do so can result in a £1000 fine plus extra fines for every day late.
Not many teams in Ch and ch1 send video teams to the away games but Leigh do (me

) my away copy does not get forwarded to the Refs facilitator unless the club do it or the RFL ask for it in special circumstances, or for discipline committee reasons.

Don't worry about any litigation Frank - I and others will stand by you and tell the courts how much you really do deserve a holiday - on your own - away from it all
