Great all round performance from all the team tonight. Watto,Hill,Morrison, Donlan and Smith were all outstanding. Jock made me eat my words tonight, but the player that turned the screw for me with a faultless kicking game that destroyed the Frenchies was Tom Hemingway. He turned them time and time again and we should've converted that possession into more points. If this guy builds up his confidence he could be a great asset. All in all a credible performance all round. BTW, we need to keep Alstead IMO, very solid game in the centres against very good opposition.

Agree PL I thought Hemmingway had a good kicking game ...... not a bad kick from Army as well .... The future`s bright...........

If we keep on the form from last nights game , I have every confidence we can stay up . Playing like we did last night we would have given a few teams at the top of the table a good game.

Although I didn't join in the chants of " we are stayin up " , too early for that chant just yet . Suppose we have to hope other results go in our favour and ofcourse keep winning .

I think that has to be the most enjoyable game for a long while all the lads gave 100% what a great game of rugby ,if we had played with that much spirit early in the season...... well thats another story.Thank goodness the ref was changed for second half ,was'nt too impressed with 1st one at all.Cheered them off at the end near the tunnel and Higson did a YES! just as he left the pitch

It's simple really - a win by more than 12 points at Gateshead would guarantee safety! It's a big 'ask', I know, but if we defend like we did last night, we could sicken the Aussie Geordies as well.
