We are awful. The worst team in the league looked better than us yesterday and I dont give a what any of you say!!

I travelled 200 miles last week to watch us get blitzd by a side that just passed the ball right to left and did a side step every so often & yesterday, Doncaster played a better game than us and were unlucky not to win!!

I've got to say that when Millward was announce I was excited but since, all we have had is bad news (except for us now being 4 points clear of Gateshead)

Wish I'd never started a =redPOSITIVE thread! Guess that's it - we're doomed. Let's forfeit the final four games, and save on wages, and ground rent. We can all stay at home, instead of watching our team, however bad they may be. Thank goodness we don't need to produce any more programmes - what a chore they have been!

a) Let's get behind the team, (it just might help them) and then have an inquest, =redafter the season.

b) Let's pillory everybody at the Club, make the players' fragile confidence even worse, and be happy that we have done something - albeit maybe helping them get relegated.

I wouldn't expend too much energy into your supposed relegation fight. It aint going to happen. By February next year all this will be forgotten about and you'll all be wondering how far up the table Basil can take you and Starbug will still be predicting those bonus points. You've just got to write this season off and concentrate on 2010.

Sometimes i regret coming on here when i read all the doom and gloom people write,i know its their oppinion but geeze .I mean i could'nt watch for the last 15 or so mins fearing the worst but in the end we won and that made me feel better ,not exactly looking forward to the next game as i dont think its doing my health any good

but go i shall and support them the best way i can and that is'nt coming on here insisting we are doomed ,we have to take each game as it comes and yes i know we are not playing well at all but yet we still managed a win and personally dont care if its a good win or a bad win as its still 3 points and i'll take that at the moment if it keeps us up.

I've no problems with people being disgruntled on a internet board as after such a poor run of performances I'm sure even the players would be surprised if that wasn't the case.
I DO have a problem with people giving it verbal / booing during the game, won't achieve anything - again though no problems after the 80mins are over as people work damn hard to earn money and have a choice to watch Leigh.
Players sulking or not trying there best are a disgrace.

However as Alex has said this is the positive thread (and it really sums up how positive everyone feels

) , so here goes.....positives....

- Petrol was still at 99.9 so the cost of fuel had stayed put since our last home game
-It didn't rain.
-Wife won a nice Leigh Centurions pin badge on the tombola pre match.
-It was a meaningful match.
-On 70mins people realised they was at a match not a wake and backed the team vocally instead of me looking like the odd one out in the North Stand.
-We won.
- The drive home was in sunshine.
