Quite simply I was wondering whether Sheffield got more people watching than Leigh.I do not think they do.The Eagles average appox 1200.

i agree we will never play in super league again theirs not enough interest in the town no more most people have had it kicked out of them.

thanx keith glad somebody picked up on wot I thought was obvious,the best and most consistant team we had was home grown and cost next to nothing,the problem we have now is the inability by our board and coaching staff to sell the club to decent players from leigh area.and yes roy did play in final,the team I put forward was the players that played the most games in that season.

I would think every fair minded NL1 (or whatever they are calling it this week) supporter would agree Keith, gone are the days when clubs like ours could compete with SL clubs at ANY level as you say its ALL down to finance (or lack of it) and anyone who thinks different realy needs a reality check.
