He drinks in my pub and chats with my 13 month old son, my sons latest word is shandy. Mrs reckons he's scared of him though

Legend has it he used to get drunk off it, or at least pretend to.

Now I have only met Shandy once and he does not strike me as being someone who is afraid of a 13 month old kid!

He used to ride around on a bike with big cow horns, drinking Shandy Bass and pretending to be drunk off it, but thats the way he is.

theres now a quiz in the hilton arms on sundays, and recently the picture round was " ten famous leythers"

there was john woods, georgie fame, pete shelley and lots of others......

however the only person ALL the teams recognised was "shandy"

He showed me it last night plus everybody else on the way to the pub he told me, he said everyone recognised him but hardly anyothers. I didn't get many of the others, 1 or 2 in the pub got most of them
