Even I am harshly treating this guy, should be an absolute minimum 8/10 overall - He was a real menace to Featherstone all afternoon. Strong with the ball, agressive in defence. A Superb performancefrom minuite 1 to minuite 80.

He played well did Fleming, he had the job of nullifying Featherstone's biggest threat to us, Tulipappa. He did it well. He stays at centre for me. It looks like Langi is out next week. So come in James Clare, and a three quarter next week of Clare, Brown, Flemming, and Dawson. IMO

Juksey say's Langi should be ok for this weeks game, so that's good news. Hock and Crooks have done for the season.

big blow with Acton missing, another injury in the front row could have us scrambling a bit. Although be nice to see Hopkins back, but would be interesting to see who dibs out - Richards for example has come in and looks as though he will more than be up for it

That's my concern that possibly we are just lacking a little grunt without Hock and Weston.

However if we can just steer clear of injuries, the current available crop are more than capable to secure a top 3 place. No question about that.

I really hope we can, Harold, but that's a huge ask in 6/7 crucial games.

Which forwards, other than Hock and Acton who wont play this season, were left out of the featherstone game? Can only think of Hopkins and Green. Worrying lack of depth. May end up having to play Langi in the pack and putting Brown at centre. It's not often we have more wingers in reserve than forwards.

Hoping we have a more balanced squad next year, whatever league we're in.

This is where all (most?) of our Middle 8 opponents have one advantage over us. They have far more depth available, through reserve/under 19's squads. Granted, that might not always be first team quality depth, but at least they won't struggle to put out a team, if injuries accumulate. We simply can't suffer many injuries. (or suspensions!)

It's not so much a lack of numbers that;s the main issue (though that is an issue), but the balance of them. Half of the players currently in reserve are wingers! If Langi is injured, we end up with reshuffling players out of position in the most important games of the season. If Burr is also injured, Hopkins can come in, but then that just leaves Green available should it be needed.

That will include the firing off of the prat Acton, who has yet again contributed to the lack of depth in the forwards unnecessarily at the most crucial of times. Totally unreliable to continue taking up a valuable spot in our squad.

I would rather have 2 x James Green's in the qualifiers right now.

I really hope he steps up, but I get the impression Jukes doesn't really trust Green enough to pick him. And can understand why based on what I've seen of him.

Completely agree. I myself ( albeit irrelevant in the grand scheme) have not been impressed with him at all.

Since the cup game against Hull KR - I think I am right in saying he has made just 1 substitute appearance. To be fair to him he can not be match fit really.
