Lets be frank it was a stupid thing to do and he deserves no sympathy, however how can one trip be a ban and and another not especially as both players pleaded Not guilty!
This is supposed to be a fair system regardless of who the player is or who he does or doesn't play for, this along with the dire inconsistent refereeing is exactly why people ARE getting fed up with the RFL.

I like Acton but I like him less than I used to and he's just a liability if he spends half the time on suspension in the stands. He's a good, aggressive forward but needs to learn how to control himself more because when he's good, he's very, very good.

Tickle was sat next to Ridy with a bandage round his head.Hopkins never starts,we look short.

Maybe. But he's also carried our pack at times this season. I'd say Green has let us down more.

At least he was showing an attitude to not wanting to concede again, just needs to add brains. (if he'd just blocked him off, would've conceded a pen, but been available next game!) Whereas previous bans have come about by just trying to prove how hard he is.

I think you need to take your blinkers off chaps on this one. The Acton trip was ridiculously blatant and unbelievably petulant, especially as you were in the dying embers of a great win against the pies. I was at the Widnes / Stains game, and without sounding like Arsene Wenger, 'I didn't even see it!' I think thats is the difference. BUT, I totally agree with all that the asylum @ Red Hall is ruining this game we all love. See you next Thursday at the Friction Burn City Stadium for the wooden spoon decider!

Well after watching Wire v Wigan game, if Ratchford doesn't get a ban, if I was Leigh I would want to know why, because it was EXACTLY the same type of trip as Actons. Before you say anything about Actons previous indisciplines, he has served his time on those.
