I'm sure a lot of lessons will be learned from this first season. It's difficult moving from a place with so much history and even though it was old and tired we all loved HP.

What happened to the naming of 'Stands' idea? I thought that was very appropriate. At Sydney Cricket Ground, they have a mix of Stand names from different sports that have played there, i.e. Bradman Stand (Cricket) Churchill Stand (Rugby League) I like that idea. A popular theme seems to be North,South,East & West however, The John Woods Stand,Des Drummond Stand,Alex Murphy Stand and Mick Martyn would all be fitting. Warrington also use North,South etc... theme although, Mike Gregory and Brian Bevan Stands have a much better ring to them! Over at United, George Best Stand, Bobby Charlton etc... would also be suitable?

I cant see the LSV management agreeing to it, they would want hard cash for naming rights, If they didn't could you imagine because its a council run stadium them having to put it to the whole borough to name the stands?

The 'BOSTON' Stand, The 'ASHTON' stand etc , thats just an idea on what they would end up as, as most of the people this side of the borough couldn't give a tuppeny f*rt for Leigh rugby unfortunately

When do the signs go up on the side of the clubhouse ?
