Seems a good idea to me to stay in Limoux after the match and then get a coach back to Carcassonne.

I am up for it and if every other Leyther who is interested and who is going will pm their agreement or otherwise we will be able to see if it is viable. Any coach money I could collect before the game at a named watering hole in Limoux before the match..

My mate rang Sunday night to say it was booked up so had booked us in somewhere else in Carcassonne.

Maybe they didn't like the sound of his voice.

Oh regarding organisation most who will be in Limoux will probably be in Toulouse so we could sort it in the Melting Pot after the game maybe.

That happened after the toulouse game last year and was a good atmosphere in the tent after the game. Also the beer was alot cheaper in the tents after

Any idea how many people would stay on after the game if something was organised in the clubhouse? Just a guess would do...

I shall make enquiries of those in Toulouse when I get there Good Friday and then pm you OK.

Id think everyone of us who have said they will go back on coaches provided would stay behind after the match in the club house.

To be honest, I think all Leythers would stop behind after the game. After the match in Touslouse was something special I will remember for a long time.

Just got back from your game against Toulouse. Enjoyed seeing what a lively and colourful crowd you are!

These are the provisional plans for the day on the 17th: It would be good to get some feedback about interest and numbers.

A barbeque lunch is planned from midday onwards at the ground open to all
(Our ground only has stands on two sides, the ends are open and have a lot of space. There will be a marquee and there is also a clubhouse.)

The game starts at 4pm. Afterwards there'll be refreshments at the clubhouse available until around 8pm.

The centre of town is just a few minutes walk away, with many bars and restaurants.
(THERE IS A PRIVATE INITIATIVE (i.e not the club) TO ORGANISE COACHES TO GET YOU BACK TO CARCASSONNE AT THE END OF THE EVENING AS THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT AVAILABLE. HOWEVER WE NEED TO KNOW NOW ROUGHLY HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL NEED TRANSPORT.

One bus can do 100 people in 2 trips. I saw about 150 of you in Toulouse? Are you all coming to Limoux too?

Lads and lasses, for those who have not ben to Carcassonne, a little word of warning. Its a great city, we've been twice now including last night and it isnt the best boozing place in the world. Well, to be honest, we were tucked in bed by 10pm (which had nowt to do with Thursday and Friday nights 4am sessions

)

Plenty of restaurants especially up in La Cite selling ale at 7 euros a pint, but if you're looking for Le Pot De Melting, then it wont be there. Stopping together in Limoux is probably then best shout.

where did you get your Limoux match tickets ? are they for sale in Leigh or are you going down without tickets ? we are fans based in france

Would just pay on the day, I'd imagine.

I'm well up for the staying about in Limoux post-match idea anyway - folks in Carcassonne won't have a clue why we're there (mind you, neither did most of Toulouse!) so let's geet some money behind the bar, the French haven't let us down so far with post-match entertainment
