Well Charlie went , our attack is very poor we didn't make 1 break the full 90 minutes, Lui and Dobson definately bossed the halves battle, Tickle and Acton dropped a lot of ball, plus side our defence improved, Salford weren't great either Sau and Carney both looked a handful,we need Drinky back as soon as poss.

Look at the majority of our games. The opposing teams halves are the difference...feel sorry for Jukesy, he can only coach around the abilities of our halves. Can they improve, can they learn?

Ref was in an awful position, totally impeding McNally, right on our line. If he hadn't shoved him they would have scored!

REALLY? Wtf happened there? Accident or red mist? Not like him!

For what it's worth, here's my summary:-

Our defence was back to its pre-Wakefield levels. One tackle, by Stewart, to prevent Dobson from scoring, was incredible.

However, despite restricting a high-scoring team to just two tries, we rarely looked like breaching their well organised, uncompromising defence. We lacked guile, pace and penetration. This despite being given a fair crack of the whip by the referee, for a change. Salford created numerous repeat sets, and our handling (like theirs on a wet day) combined to starve us of possession for long spells. Hopefully, the return of Drinkwater, (or trying Hampshire at scrum half) Tonga, Hock and Paterson (?) may improve things. I'd also find room for Hood, who seems more capable of making a break, than Pelissier.

There will have to be changes on Monday. Brown presumably failed the concussion assessment, Ridyard was limping heavily, Higson was in the wars again, and Burr seemed absolutely shattered before he was taken off.
