Thanks for all your kind comments and for buying the thing, of course! I know that statistics can be twisted every which way, but some of our best sales figures, as a percentage of attendance, have come from the 'less-well attended' games. This would seem to prove that we have a hard core of readers, come what may. To each of them, and the likes of 'leyther geezer', (would you believe I also buy it?!) my heartfelt thanks - it makes it all worthwhile!

So, on to next season, and some new ideas - whatever they are!!

Was out on Monday night playing poker and on TV QPR were playing West Ham.

I heard one of the commentators say that QPR had introduced a 3D programme.

Well Alan ?

It doesn't suprise me one bit Alan you do your up most for the club & especially your hard work & time keeping the programe going

It only takes a few less copies being sold & it's financially not viable & it's gone. I do love the flat cappers view Alan

Frank 3D can also depend on how much alcohol's been consumed before reading it so under said circumstances it's argued that it can be it's the eye of the beholder

Let's face it, the 'Wendyball' people need something to distract them from what's going on, on the pitch! I would hate for our fans to become obsessed by what's in the programme, and miss one of Ryan Brierley's cameo appearances!



Also, 3D might stretch my (limited) technological skills somewhat. Attempts are being made to introduce me to the art of interviewing (as in audio) next season, and, to my embarrassment, I completely misunderstood what was meant by "honing my dictaphone skills." Suffice it to say, nobody will want to borrow my mobile again!

A lot of away fans have said its the best programme in our league and it is thes best. That Ive no doubt.

All helped by having so many great volunteer contributors - yourself included.

Always a good read and a decent way of keeping up with whats going on at the club and who the opposition actually are.

And they are right Lynda. The Centurion is by far the best program in this league. Well done.

Great effort Alan. Really enjoy reading it. None of the other programmes in the league come near it IMO.

Said it a few weeks ago - it is the best in the league.

First of all, Alan, thanks for the transparency in publishing the figures and well done to you and the team for generating a profit and an excellent publication. Although the profit is less than 2011 (for the reasons stated) nevertheless a profit is a profit - not easy to achieve in these difficult times.







Now a suggestion, if I may. I appreciate that production times may not always be sufficient but could the team consider making the programmes available on the market unit the day before (ideally) or on the day of the match. This could result in copies being sold to some who might not - for whatever reason - be attending the game? Just a thought.

As an excellent town centre outlet, the market stall should be fully utilised for all kinds of sales. I will endeavour to ensure that correspondents/publishers meet the necessary deadlines to get them on the stall, the day before the game.

What a fantastic idea selling them on the market kiosk is.

I can now pick up my copy of the programme (and keep it in prestine condition) whilst I'm already at the the market to pick up my Saturday snap, which incidently always consists of a Dawson's Meyt & Prater and a Fishers pork pie.

Don't get grease on them!!
