Well he was certainly waxing lyrical about the RFL today I can tell you. Tried to monopolise a good bit of the time supporting the RFL expansion programme and agreed with the Franchise system as the RFL should be making sure that teams had all the criteria in place in every dpt before being allowed to go in the Super League.Especially the finances as (according to him in his own words) clubs are still insisting on paying too much money to over the hill Aussies commanding the bulk of the wage bill for a club.Leaving a club not able to pay the other bills. I nearly choked on my tea oh mind you he`s a Kiwi isn`t he?
Thankfully he recieved not a glimmer of support from the floor wheras the newly elected MP that vehemently disagreed with him on all counts got a cheer and a round of aplause.

Robbie has been one of the greats of the game but now his is a shadow of the player he was, and whilst he is a great ambassador for the game and your club and also a great person, he will be taking up a big chunk of your salary cap and unfortunately he is probably not in the top 6 scrum halfs in the Championship.

Roy, spot on.
Only saw a few glimpses last year, he is NOT a playmaker and would serve us best at 9 imho.
