Our young lads gave there all and showed they can play with pride,passion and gave their all for the dons today.

The vast majority of leythers i spoke to after the game had nothing but admiration for our teams performance today and for that i thank them.

This team has been shambolic for the last 3 years.
The worrying thing for me is the fact that all the young Leigh lads in the team are busting a gut for the club. All the foreign ' so called' experienced mambers are just not trying or upto the job.

Dean Dollin today epitomised what Leigh RLFC is all about. He came on and looked hungry and full of energy. When moved to the wing he got on with it and when we scored he was the first one there making sure the team was brought together. I have been impressed with this lad in the reserves and today he stepped up a level with no problems.
I would seriously consider putting a really young and energetic team out against Tolouse with a mixture of reserves who are doing fantastic and the other local lads in the first team.
Drop Steve Maden for a start 'cos he is terribly poor and let The backs in the eserves continue to flow with the confidence they already have. I am sure Doncasters first try today would never have been scored against our reserves 'cos they have some pace !!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Leyther and my criticism is in no way directed at your team.

don't think it's anything personal, but apart from the Haven game, after your 'crisis' you've been letting in 50+ every week, even Batley scored 70 points.
But for last weeks performance by you, I would have expected at least 40 points for us, in the end, best team lost.

The problem lies with the coach.

Paul was a fantastic player for Leigh and for RL in general, he is one of a number of former players who cannot coach because the skill set is different and he does not have it.

If we are to stay up I feel we need 2 wins or 1 and 2/3 bonus points, we need to be brave and bring a short term fix in who can sort out how we play.

We are better than we play, we play a very poor gameplan that hasnt varied all year and our points for shows the evidence. Today Dons 6/7/9/13 murdered us, that isnt acceptable.

We need pace from the ptb and a pace to our game that suits our smaller and younger pack.

this is a REAL concern

As I said on another thread play a few of the reserves especially the local lads.

Playing reserves will not keep us up. We have to play our best players and those players look to me to be playing under orders to tactics they do not agree with,understand or find as incomprehensable as us supporters do.

Our chairman is pumping money into this club and if this team goes down he might run out of it.
