Could anyone explain how the match officials missed the forward pass in the first Widnes try? It was a foot or so forward. I hate how forward passes are so often overlooked in the modern game. It is rewarding badly executed rugby.

I was holding this one back in case any Mutants complained about the "dubious" award of Hobsons try which was 50-50. It was definately forward both live and on the telly!! |

Paul - no downward pressure at all on Hobson's try. Never in control - never a try. But to use that as an excuse papers over the cracks. |
