I don't care mate. I follow Fev and Barnsley Fc everywhere, went to France last week. Neither my teams ever gonna win owt but I follow them cos I love them both.

Wouldn't dream of coming out of the ground and start shouting abuse at fans of a team we had just beat.

Bradford fans have been superb this weekend, you lot have been awful and your post just tipifies almost every Leigh fan I have met before and after the game today

Aha, I see you've jumped on the Leigh 'thug' bandwagon much loved by West Yorkshire RL fans (usually rolled out after we have just beaten them and they have shown more ill discipline than our team).
Note why the Leigh reaction in the first minute (clue : look for the off the ball stuff as Fev mastered that today - a skill or a cheap shot, you decide).
With respect with Fev having had a player sent off I suggest the morale high ground has been lost somewhat.

You don't go 26 unbeaten by being 'thugs', you go 26 unbeaten by playing top class exciting RL- If other teams tried that rather than trying to compete by using off the ball cheap shots (resulting in a reaction - our guys are only human) we might have seen much less involvement from referees this season.

For what it's worth I would never give grief to an opposing fan. A few brave Fev fans ventured into The Manchester today and got some good natured stick but they were well respected.

However I am not naive enough to think some Leigh fans wont take the mickey, Fev fans are exactly the same. Not all but some. Trying to make Leigh look bad after the Fev fans behavior at Crusaders is comical. But I would never blame that on ALL fev fans. Just a tragic minority that embarrass themselves. Fev seem to have more than most so maybe casting the 1st stone isn't the best idea?

Didn't go yesterday but glad I didn't what a rubbish game we really need to sort our disapline out as it looked really bad on TV yesterday it's no coincidence that we are fighting ever week people will say it's teams who come and try and get under our skin but we need to rise above it instead we are fighting all the time getting people sent off and in the bin. We are fast be coming a team of thugs which we don't want . As for Mr hock when we signed him i thought give him a chance but now we need to get rid some people will never change (loose cannon)

Correct Evvo. Assumption based on reputation I guess. Don't care what any fellow Leigh fan says at the moment..we are not doing ourselves any favours on the reputation front regardless of who started it.

The RL family, well that does not seem to of been the case yesterday. It really does not help when fans from both sides come on slagging each other if, calling leigh fans vile and visa versa, this is rugby league, let's respect everybody and enjoy what is the greatest sport on the planet, albeit that yesterday did not fall into greatest sport category. Discipline has to be adopted from both players and fans.

According to my daughter we only asked them to join the Conga line..By the sounds of things we would have been better playing Hunslet.Not sure what people really mean by "we need to rise above it"..I'd like to see some suggestions on what can be done to rise above it.

Same tactics being used week in week out by the opposing teams never makes for attractive football and that has always been passed back to the terraces.

Very hard to rise above it when one teams tactics are to play rugby league and the others is to stop you playing it by whatever means.

Just watched the game on Lctv and sorry nit much wring with what Leigh did! Feathers tone were shocking roughening up every tackle them crying when they get it back! We need strong refs like Thaler!!!!
On hock think he was quality yesterday he's get some stick for he's attitude but I think he was a man on a mission yesterday and played on the edge

I think yesterday's performance was not one of our best, but it WAS a win 3 points,and a good week end in Blackpool,the pubs we went in were rocking with all Fans,the weather not bad,great on day one but you can't have everything.
Riddy was in everything yesterday and I've just watched the replay of the game to see Dixon tackle everybody,Oli
Wilkes had a good game as did Emmitt,I think Hock let's himself down with his temper ,but he tries to sort other players problems out,Mickey H had a decent debut and McNally took his tries very well.I expected a bit more from Fev though they were a man down,anyway its on to Haven next week,will Walker and Beaumont be allowed to play?
I had to laugh at Tony (Smug)Smith in this mornings League Weekly ,saying he doesn't trust Leigh

with the agreement of Mickey H not playing in the Cup.If he told me it was Monday today ,I would check the Calender first,before agreeing.

I do not pay my hard earned to watch sh**e like that, it is just not acceptable.

It's not as if there were feyts breaking out all over the place, it was just pushing and shoving like four year olds in the nursery. Teams will come to disrupt our style of play, but they know damn well it works, we have so many with an absolutely sh**house attitude, like the sledging and applauding opposition players who make a mistake - witness Kay and McNally when Blackmore (?) knocked on WTF????

As for Hock - did someone say quality??? I would be happy if he never pulled on a Leyth jersey again. I would hate to think he could be keeping the likes of Tom Spencer, Matt Sarsfield or Kurt Haggerty out of the team.

Pat,I hate the patting of players on the head and applause for mistakes,but ALL teams do it ,unfortunately, when Hock wants to play he is a plus for our side,yesterday he let himself and the Team down,Fev had a man sent off and a man sin binned so they are no Angels,as for the players that missed out?Haggerty was suspended,and I think Spencer is not fully fit,ands for Sarsfield ,he will get his chance very soon ,and so we have some hard games approaching.

Our ruck of disciplinary referrals started 2nd week of April bar the two bans from first weekend in Feb. So why is that. What has triggered this. Closer scrutiny from the refs, other teams winding us up, lack of control of our players. Who knows but i won't be called an unreal fan by anyone just because I don't want my young nephews seeing players held and punched yards from them.
