Rhys Evans is not for budging on his contract I would make him watch every minute he as played for us and tell him to show me something that warrants full pay

I dont understand why players are getting slated by the fans regarding contracts somebody at the club dished out big contracts at its backfired.

Like me i am sure they all have family , bills etc etc to pay, if they dont have a club to go to what do you expect them to do ??

I know what i would do if my employer did the same to me and it wouldnt be voluntary making myself unemployed.

I agree herald the players are just looking after themselves and who can blame them the way the club has treated the players last year and this year,its the people who gave them the contracts and agreed to sign them without doing their homework on how often a player is injured or there personality because looking at some of the lads this year there is no way u'd look to sign them on the money some of them were on this year with their history

Understand the players' point of view, however if we're comparing with typical employers, I'm sure a lot of companies would have you on at least a final written warning with an absence record like Evans' or Acton's

Employers cannot give out disciplinary action to players / Staff with injuries or illness ..as with Rhys Evans

Yes they can. Not saying Leigh can, or should, given the nature of contract signed. But employers can discipline staff for poor attendance, and plenty do. So, while players are entitled to stick to their contract, I'm not going along with the argument of "How would you feel if your employer..." when it comes to Evans and Acton.

Sympathy does wear a little thin when one of the players, is currently missing from team selection after admitting at a recent RFL disciplinary deliberate use of an elbow on a fellow professional.

Well all the directors have resigned so whoever did the contracts has well scarpered

There’s a good chance that they aren’t absent from work like normal employees, they probably turn up for training or treatment as required by the club.

No idea if they have but Player’s contracts could/should have an appearance clause in them.

Tell me , what exactly are you trying to achieve by ' naming and shaming ' any particular player who most likely hasn't had a viable option to cancel his contract ?

About rhys i hear one of the directors has phoned him and explained as he's been injured & not very good when fit hes not paying & sue if you want as they wont be there next yr
