Think you're being hugely disrespectful to Sheffield - let's not forget that Fev have only taken two points from six against them, never mind the tonking they gave Halifax. Sheffield were coming in to the game red hot and we were on our last legs with injured players turning out, players out of position through no choice of their own (or Rowley's), it happens. I'm happy to admit that I was one of the doubters when Rowley was appointed, but if a Challenge Cup quarter final, NRC semi final and a chance of still finishing top on the last day isn't enough to win you over then what is?

Taylor is never a prop, and we had 4 recognised props playing in Thornley, Spencer, Ostick and Gallagher, he got banged about alot

Nicholson should of interchanged at 9 which is his only position

Thornley is a back rower and, until the back end of last season at Swinton, Gallagher hadn't played prop since he was in the academy at Leeds.

I think you'll find that more often than not (including against us in the NRC Final in 2006) that he played at stand off during that period. Aside from the fact that I was having a conversation with him about this very subject earlier this week.

He's a prop........ played other positions obviously, but he would of played the majority of his rugby in the forwards

I think he got one decision wrong last night given the player he had available and that was when he brought on Ryan Brierley.
The rest, he did the best, with the cards we were dealt, imagine with Tommy, Hoppy(you know how good he is) , Parker who has been excellant all year, playing we would have won.
Bibby never got replaced, then Laithwaite being ineliable also, we were always going to struggle last night, we needed a good start and we did't get it.
