Only why Ryan could have injected some pace etc as riddy wasn't having his best game! Not to play him there just as cover as Ryan was during his time on the field! And then swap! Ryan needed ball in hand on Sunday to make things happen! Just an idea at why he'll probs be playing half back for cas 20's!

Can’t see him being recalled due to us having to play him out of position, think all clubs recognise that its going to happen on occasions, in fact they're probably happy to see how he goes as an emergency Winger or FB in case they need to consider it.

Someone s put on facebook that Ryan been recalled to Cas Under 21s as they can watch him progress better, apparently in the league express it mentions this and Rowley comments hes Cas player and they can do what they want, is this true I hope not, surely Cas wouldn't treat us like this ?

Well if this is the case then i applaud cas for doing it now and not later on in the season.

If Rowls had dropped a seriously out of form player and put Ryan where he should be, he may not have been recalled

He was down to make his full appearance as half back this weekend but Cas recalled him putting a stop to that.

To be honest if Cas had an injury crisis we can't blame them for recalling Ryan.

Now I don't always believe what I read in the papers either and the best person to ask as to wether Ryan will be available is obviously Ryan and no doubt he will put it on Twitter when he knows.

I suppose it depends on how drastic we're talking and the circumstances of the game. I presume you're talking about Riddy, in which case playing yesterday would have done him far more good ahead of the Batley game to give him a chance to get his confidence back rather than being left out. Might be a different situation for the Fev game if he struggles against Batley, but yesterday gave him an opportunity to get back to his normal game somewhat.

Fred, I know you are not the coach but you made a suggestion as to why you can't drop an out of form player. I just sort of summarised what you said. It's not an ideal situation though is it?

And the suggestion was mine and no one elses but I will reiterate BRIERLEY WAS PULLED BEFORE LEIGHS TEAM WAS DECIDED BUT RYAN WOULD HAVE HAD A STARTING SPOT BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN RESTED (or as some on here would have) DROPPED.



With all due respect to Ryan Brierley, he is not primarily our player Cas have first call on his duties (as do Wigan and Wire on theirs) that is another reason why we should attempt to play our own players before any duals, and try and get them playing back into form, it also keeps our own players happy, though I do believe in a squad system and limited' rotation again MY VIEWS.
