Plenty have asked the question about the change in ko time but no statements have been made and I read somewhere that Toulouse said it was the home team that requested a change and ye I heard they was in a box at united

Up there as one of the most astonishing and bizarre decisions ever made in the club's history. Kick off delayed two and a half hours for ONE person to go and attend a football match instead ?

We will still be watching the match gone 7pm on a cold, dark and freezing Sunday in February instead of being sat at side of a roaring fire, done and dusted

Well it didn't seem to be an issue kicking off later than that last season on a cold dark and freezing Thursday/Friday night.

It's 2 1/2 hours for gawds sake, it's not as though it's been changed to 3am.

And I for one am thankful, it gives the chance to get things done on Sunday, rather than 3pm giving less opportunity

I dont think you can compare Saints on a Friday night in SL, to Toulouse on a Sunday in Championship. But each to their own. Obvious disruptions on/off field at present,the last thing would be to disrupt the fans for something thats avoidable.

The point being was the change in KO time avoidable or not? Or is it a statement of intent.

I can't believe people actually think the kick off has been put back because the owner is attended a soccerball match. Some people will believe black is white if you tell them.

If theres no official reason given,that leaves all to speculate. From a business point of view, it goes against whats be done before to avoid. If you have a full pub watching the soccerball on Sunday,probably more will be prone when the beers flowing to move on to watch Leigh.

Ask the RFL. They authorised the change due to a request from Leigh. We would have had to have given them a valid reason after agreeing it with Toulouse. I can't believe the RFL would have sanctioned it because someone at the club wanted to watch a football game!

If the product on the field was good enough we'd still be in SL and not having to resort to this sort of behaviour. Again, a fixture time changed last season in the interest of safety. That protocol seems to have changed.
