Perfect location for it and one of my favourite grounds. They manage to make every league game feel like a huge event so I'm sure the final will be done well.

The famous south stand packed out with leythers is a thought to spur the players on this year!

Looking forward to the opportunity of playing at Headingley, its a great area around the ground in Headingley Village lots of great pubs and bars,good night out in Leeds if you want to make a weekend of it.

Only the small matter of winning a play-off game or two first!

Anyway the GF this year Means naff all . Top two in league get the extra funding for 2015.
It will mean more for the finalists of the Championship one final of course!

Sheffield and Batley dont have a big following and Leeds is a dump all the same !!!!!

Well mate I don't think Headingley is a dump even though we have not visited since our disasterous Super League debut in 2005 when we got beat 42 24.

Mind you our crowds this season after only two home games are 32 % up on last season so we are heading in the right direction.

Headingley is one of the iconic RL grounds and is an excellent selection as the Final venue.

To be fair I too think Headingley is a great ground.

I'll comment on the ground if we are lucky enough to reach the final.
Until then I'll say at least its not at a Championship clubs ground so its a proper neutral venue for whoever is lucky enough to make the final.

Headingley is far from a dump. Great place to watch RL.

My last visit to Headingley was also in our last super league days but a I must say I enjoyed the experience. I am not a fan of the drum but as one of my friends said when you watch Leeds it works it all adds to the atmosphere. So with that thought in mind Rhino Roy can we borrow your drummer if we get to Headingley.

Great RL stadium great area of Leeds. Going to be staying there for the next six weeks so hoping to catch a Rhino's game.

If the RFL had chosen the venue with the motive of 'helping out' a Sooper Dooper League team, I can think of one or two more urgently 'deserving' causes.

Me too but the RFL have a good mate in Hetherington

I much prefer a RL ground to get some financial benefit than say Old Trafford make at the Grand Final now that does wind me up.

Not much alternative in that regard...at least it's not RU I suppose!

I went to Headingley for the New Zealand V Papua New Guinea game, had a great time and it was a good atmosphere. It's a bit of an old fashioned stadium but nothing wrong with it. Think LSV is better and perfect for the Championships final but it does have to be somewhere neutral and Headingley is as good as anywhere.
