In the absence of any official comment about the game on the 10th, I changed the fixture list, in the programme, to say 'To be re-arranged'. I also have spoken to fans who believe the game is going ahead, next Sunday.

I was of the impression that the parties involved (Leigh, 'Fax and the RFL) had to mutually agree to a date to suit all, with any dispute being settled by the RFL...surely even they would realise it's a ridiculous situation to give us 2 games in quick succession, especially when considering the number of free weekends we seem to have.

And, on the subject of our games against 'Fax, does anyone know when the NRC tie is going to take place?

June the 7th - just a week after the proposed re-arranged game! Another reason for not playing on the 31st!

well i rang the club up last week, and they said a decision would be made early this week, well obviously today has been a bank holiday, plus we played, so maybe tomorrow or weds, but nowt would surprise me with our club and the rfl also involved. maybe we could actually play fax's a team this sunday, might win then

why does everyone keep saying that its the challenge cup anything can happen. the underdog teams tend to up there game for occasions like this

the amount of people on this boeard that think we are going to have 50 or 60 points knocked past us in frightening and i think there will be alot of people eating there words. i'm not saying we will end up winning i'm just saying it aint going to be half as easy as everyone on these boeards thinks it is.

Realistically as good as we maybe in this league when it comes to SL they are worlds apart. I would be really suprised if Cas didnt put more than 40 on us but on the other hand i do expect us to compete with them for abot half of the 80 minutes before their fitness and skill pays off.

i know we might end up losing but i think it will be closer than some people think the underdog status will help us we have no pressure to win cas are expected to win. i'm gonna say that cas will win by no more than 12.

I never mentioned that it'd be a tonking, and I do hope that 'Fax do our league proud, but the harsh reality is that I wouldn't fancy them to get within 30 of Cas.

I love it Fax complain about doubling up and earlier in the season we played 4 games in the space of 10 days or something. I wonder who the RFL want to win this competition

the thing what annoys me about this is we have 4 games over a short period in April and now we have no home match for 31 days since the last one.

I know I was looking at the fixtures with my brother. We play sometime in June at home and then it's mid July again before we play at home.

The next 8 weeks consist of 2 home games, 4 away, and 2 blanks - at least, that's the way it stands at the moment, with the Halifax home game to be arranged. It's called 'summer' rugby!!

how can people expect halifax to play us on sunday, they have a fixture this weekend, it just happens to be being played as the tv game on the thursday, come on guys, when we whack em at home, lets make sure they have no excuses.
