Does anyone else in british RL have a scoreboard as good as ours? Save when Sky has the big screen up.

Can the screen show photographs ? Would be useful when team is read out or just go through team on scoreboard, for newbies etc

not as easy as you would think Im sre even the change in the graphics took Michael some time to do and theres still the missing 'bit' of hardware to do it with (or ws that for video?)

I thought it looked great on Sunday but I do think a clock would improve it even more.

At least it can be done somewhere down the line......for one moment I thought LSV had invested in an over price flashy scoreboard that HP scoreboard could have competed with (info wise)

Once the screen is at full pelt it will look great and be informative I'm sure.

We've got plenty of plans - but it's not as easy to get these things done as it should be, and from some respects we have to start from scratch with our own software to make it look and work as smoothly as we would like.

Thanks for the positive comments, and I'll take suggestions on board. i agree that the west stand clock is difficult for those in the west stand to see - it's a shame they didn't put it in the east stand.

We could do photos and text with the current software, but it doesn't look very good and is a pain in the rear to use. However, the next thing on my list of things to do is player pics. No promises on timescales however!

Living over in York I'm occasionally reduced to listenning to Radio Leeds for the rugby and was pleased to hear them talk in yesterdays phone in about the league launch held at LSV and commented extremely positively on LSV, how it was a cracking ground, a model for other clubs to follow etc.

just out of interest, most super league teams have got rid of the clock cos it never tallies with the big screen time when sky visit and therefore causes confusion.

good screen though, better than ours!

Definate improvement on scoreboard, if we can display the team line ups that would be superb.
Your right the outside graphics are great however, when/if the proposed Tesco is built, won't that obscure the screen, particularly from the bypass traffic!
When's East getting their sign? its long overdue! people from outside the town ask me; what's that 'Brick building' on the bypass?

Both signs do look very professional well done but is there no chance of getting a count down timer on the in house screen or is it not possible with the software that the screen uses?????

Was talking about the 'Tesco' development (wont say who with no name dropping

) and they (both high ups one LSV one Centurions) both commentedthat the sign would be seen from the by-pass as the Tesco was going to be over towards the Hotel side of the site.

As for anything else to do with the screen you will have to direct those questions to Michael Ward and Andrew but like I have said it doesn't appear to be that easy with the software available, and lets not forget both also have full time jobs so time is at a premium I suppose, I know our Andrew spends quite a bit of time over and above his ticket office hours doing 'outside screen work' and would imagine Michael doing the same for the inside screen.

As for East's sign, well how long is a piece of string? perhaps Mr C can enlighten us there.

The leaflets given out in the library show Tesco s directly opposite the staduim and the carpark at the side of the hotel, the store looked huge too and itlooked as if it came right up to the roadside and stretched back right up to the bypass. At the end where the temp car park is now, is a petrol station.

So I doubt the screen being seen unless its risen.

Only passing on what I was told after I voiced my 'concerns'
