If Stewart is replaced by Hopkins, still need someone to replace Tickle, because he's not in the 19.

Hopkins & Brown will play - Young AJ maintains his place. Matty Fleming will not be selected

Think I'd like to see Fleming in there, and Langi move to second row.

That's how I am reading it. I like Langi in the centre though , he offers us a real viable threat on the edge. And we don't pose many !

If Fleming is not selected,and it looks like Reynolds could miss out, then the rest are in.

Disappointed Clare has not made it into the 19 especially having been part of the warm up last week.

Higson should lose his shirt - he was poor generally last week and his mistakes led to tries. We look a better side with Brown on the wing fielding kicks etc. The unlucky Ben Reynolds looks likely to miss out again. Fleming has been solid enough in the centre without being outstanding. With the exception of Stewart the pack looks ok - great to see Sam back

I'd be happy with that!!! Brown on the wing, higson out, flemming and langi in the centres. Good to see Hopkins back in the team, let's hope Stuart actually has a good game like last time we where in France! (One if the very few he's had)

Higson was not poor generally in my opinion, he made 2 mistakes that quite rightly have been highlighted. All in all his returns were very good and he seemed to make a lot of yards, need the likes of him as McNallys returns are generally poor

Clare is an interesting one, obviously there or the abouts - at which point if any is he going to get a run out

Now now Col , you know what it's like , we have to have somebody to blame , somebody to crucify , no other teams players make mistakes only ours

Steady on Buggy, not condoning him by any means, although ok I believe we may have better options

On twitter Clare said trying his hardest to get into team

Clare will probably get his chance when its to late ... we need pace

I've noticed how the posters who give Glenn a hard time on this forum and social media in general are the "Johnny come lately, bandwaggoners", who were nowhere to be seen before the elevation to S/L




Look at his stats, and how hard he hits in defence!

It's easy to criticise when things mean so much and things hinge on small margins of error. Glad to see Hopkins back as we need his energy in attack. Stewart is a difficult one as defensively he is good but has been disappointing in attack. Be good to see Clare but without match fitness could be a risk perhaps that is why we have not seen him.

Stewart is only playing the way he is being told to play. That isnt his fault.

Defensively, he is excellent.

He needs to stop playing as another halfback and run hard on the Fringes like he did for Manly and Catalans.

Hopkins is excellent going forward and difficult to stop. Just needs to ensure that he keeps hold of the ball as he is prone to 'dropsies'.

Yes be good to see him running wider like Reni did but they seem to use Vea in that position. Whoever plays we need to be more expansive in.attack get teams on the back foot as we did last year. An option to add more creativity would be Mortmer to 9 and Reynolds at 6.... Thoughts?

2. The RFL/SL have an agenda to include Toronto Bradford Toulouse (pick one) at the expense of our club. There can be no other explanation.

I could understand the idea of a ball playing 13 at the start of last season when we Chase and Brierley at half back, and tried Paterson at 13. Problem is, it didn't work and Paterson hit his best form when moved to second row outside of Ridyard on the right.

Cannot for the life of me understand why the coach is persisting with Stewart in that role. With Hock, Acton and Weston missing we can't really carry a half back in the middles.

Would feel like a selection based on whose omission would cause least noise rather than best players in each position.

Not a question of crucifying anyone. Each game is so crucial now and there is no time for sentiment or giving second chances. I am entitled to my opinion and not looking to blame people, Higson has his strengths but too many times he has been caught out of position defending and this has led to tries by opposing wingers.

Stewart was brought into to make a major impact which he did while playing in the NRL. I accept his defence is strong, but there are lots of forwards who can tackle. I think I am entitled to have expected more from him expansively.
