1968 was my first game so over 41 years of watching Leigh, some very good times and memories. but i cant take any more it breaks my heart to see my team my club being made a laughing stock by the so called people incharge. This time last year we were all looking forward to moving into the new stadium and building for a place in super league, look at us now fighting off relegation. No way on gods earth should any team be having 70+ points put past them. Glory hunter i am not, like a lot i could go down the road to have glory but a Leigh lad through and through they are sh ite but they are my sh ite, but i just cant take any more.

Surely you've seen worst times than this though?

The glass is always half full, look forward to next year and getting your side out of the mess they've found themselves in this year.

If you have been watching Leigh for 41 years mate have you never seen worse than this team?

Keep you chin up lad we need all the support we can this season then we can secure a future for leigh for our kids and kids kids!!

Things will be better next year, alot better so lets get behind the team we have now and get them playing to keep us up.

True i have but at this moment in time i just cant take any more, I will be back not when the glory days come i guess i will be a long time dead before that ever happens. But right now i cant take the hurt of watching my team being ripped apart.

Keep the faith - be disappointed and hurt in these bad times and revel in the glory next year!

I am off work so i will be there in the north stand cheering the lads on come on Leigh.

The fans have been turning up for weeks, no less on Saturday. It's time the players turned up as well.

Get you're sleeves rolled up and pay back those long suffering fans for there tremendous support over the last few traumatic seasons.

I sometimes think the longer you have been watching them (50+ yrs in my case), the harder it is to take.

Yes there have been even worse times when we really suffered. I think it is true that the move to a brand spanking stadium has made it worse to take. We expected a new dawn and we got....

Having said that I haven't quite given up yet but will just have to miss Sunday as I'm in the south of France!

Dont do it. When it all comes good again the guilt will eat at you forever. Dont become one of those fair weather fans. Get down there and shout , boo, whatever. The club needs everyone of us. Things are going to get better.

Great post. I started in 1966 and agree with all those sentiments. Thank God I'm on holiday fort the next two weeks so don't have to make the decision

For me that is part of the fun , will it be good , or will it be bad , For many years I went to Old Trafford when the expectation was there every year that they would win something , they didn't , eventually I stopped going more because I changed , not ' it ' changed

Strange though it may seem I am enjoying the scare factor that a potential relegation has brought , the games actually mean something

At the moment we are getting something our friends in SL are not getting , something even the fans of the clubs at the top of our league are not getting

Our games mean something , every one of them is crucial

So go to the games if you want , or dont if you dont want to , but dont blame anybody else for your decision , it is yours to make and yours alone , nobody will feel any worse about you if you make the decision in this way , even yourself

I personaly would still go and watch my beloved team even if we were at the bottom of championship 1 will never give up on them come on leigh.

i went to barrow and got behind the lads, itn obviously made ahuge difference didn't it?

I think in fairness we did seem to lift the players at the Sheffield game, and we need to do it again on sunday.

Agreed but we need to do it again on sunday as well as against Toulouse, and Whitehaven because these are the crucial games as well as Gateshead away anything we get against Fax (bonus point) will be great so come on Leythers lets not turn in to a load of Humbles Supporters and watch when we are winning get down to the LSV on Sunay and sing your hearts out for the lads

Don't think I'll have time, moving house this weekend.

Leigh fans over the years have proved themselves far far worse than those of the inferior team from across the borough, they have always supported thier team throughout the years.

Times are hard,we are not a good side...but they need our support/encouragement.Supporting Leigh has never been "a walk in the park",but its a part of our heritage/history.Lets stop the bickering and support the team 100%.Sunday is vital,all leigh fans need to be there,no sick notes,no letters from mum/dad.Make the effort.
