As an ordinary fan , i just wish we could get something sorted out quickly , again it seems to me folk who dont even go to the games are trying to score points of each other with their opinions on the Club should be run , i heard a couple of rumours at yesterdays game at York both totally different , one must have been wrong .

All myself and im sure most fans want to see is a successful team , which we had yesterday , and a Solvent club i never get involved with Club Politics , i was hoping we could have something sorted out by now , we have no Home games now for 3 weeks so no income , what is going to happen ?

Things need to run their course now over the next fortnight and hopefully a solution put in place, if needed.
One thing is certain, whoever is in charge needs to increase incomes to survive.

Mo , i respect your views , and believe your opinions are in the best interests of Leigh Centurions , but im still sceptical of some ideas that are posted on this Forum 90% of posters are like me ordinary fans , i have no Business knowledge , or interest in getting involved with the BOD and suchlike , why dont you , and your Business minded fellow posters get together , contact Mr Freer and discuss your ideas and views with him , im sure he would be happy to listen to you , especially if it was for the good of Leigh Centurions .

We need stability and peace of mind , i help fundraise and will continue to do so , as many others will ,but lets try to get something sorted out as soon as possible .

Possibly both short term, but I'd suggest that our income now is around half of what it was 10/12 years ago, so the target has to be to increase ' earned ' income , otherwise we are doomed to failure, not forgetting our largest ' outgoing ' is players wages by a huge amount

Budget correctly spend wisely and be willing to say NO when No is what's best for the club.

I agree. We can only cut so far. We've got to get more fans through the turnstiles, (easier said than done, when you see the similar problems at all Championship clubs) and attract/welcome/retain more sponsors and advertisers. As a small example, we have about [size=15011[/size advertisers in the programme, not all paid for, (e.g. the RFL official competition sponsors) while Featherstone had [size=15042[/size. With total respect to the town/club of Featherstone, can anyone argue that they are suffering less from the economic downturn, than Leigh is?
