Good morning Derek ,I’m well , hope you are , my Fantasyteams are doing ok , I’ve put 3 in the same as yourself , and joined Evvos prediction league , today will be very difficult , Warry will be hurting as we are after last week , I just feel they will be to strong for us , obviously I hope I’m wrong .

I’m going for a Warrington win by 12 , I really think we will survive though , once we get all troops back on board , the 2 Aussies , Flower , Bell, Ellis ,Sau and company , I watched the Wigan game 3 times now , we lose every time by 2 , BUT I was impressed by Mellor , playing when not fit , it’s obvious to see now , when he tries to pick up the loose ball he looks like he’s running through gravy ,in diving boots , again when fit he will be a good signing .Anyway the challenge is on in the Fantasy Comp .See ya soon .

Warrington are a very good team , today we seemed to be a little apprehensive in both attack and defence , I still think we will survive ,once we get a fully fit squad on the pitch , I still think a couple of our players are only Championship players , Widdop came from behind Wildie to score his first try , I can’t see Wildie being in the 17 when Peats is playing , it’s the same for Spencer , though loaned to Swinton. , Derek and Duffs know the score , Duffs won’t dodge any bullets I’m sure of this , get Ellis ,Mellor , Wallace , Brierley , and Reynolds all on the park and it will be different .

HKR , Wakey , Hudds , and Catts must be our targets , plus win a couple of games against higher teams , its no use saying we are only 2 games in though , because that will turn to 3 , then 4 , then 5 , that was Abram and Jukesys philosophy .

The lads didn’t give up , hopefully the new boys from Auss and Flower and Bell , returning will make a difference , I don’t think McCarthy is the answer either, time will tell .Onwards to the Cup .

In 2017, Leigh lost a tight opener (by 3) that they should have won - as this year (lost by 2).

They then got spanked in the next game - as this year.

In the third game they played Bladdersveldt - as this year...

as for my memory I agree it isn’t very good ,our 3rd game this season is against Cas, I’m not sure why Bladdersfeldt though .?

It could have been 60 without much more effort from the dire with their superstar sat with his feet up.
Our kicking game was terrible and its such a big part of the game these days.
If we had played with the backline suggested by some it would have been 80.
Can Duffy improve that starting 17 how many sat in the stand will be automatic choices that is what will define our season.

The hit outs you must agree with Binosh. Leigh have'nt played for twelve months. They needed them as a new sqaud. Yes injuries occur. But wihout them they would have been lost. Now Duffs is aware of where the squads is at, he can now start to control.

I remember Cas away on a freezing night , then a close Leeds win , I can’t think who it was , but if the Leigh player would have passed we would have won , he didn’t pass and we lost .

Think we will need to be patient this year have faith and see how things evolve. We won’t get anywhere near Warr And Wigan in the league. Be interesting to see how we go against Hudds as we will be closer to them come the end of the season. If we can get Ellis, and Elliot in with Flowers and Peats should start looking a much better team. Forwards have done ok so far need the backs to improve. Hopefully we can bring in a couple more in over coming months.

We better be quiet before the authorities catch on and ask the same?

I'm assuming it's because Reynolds would have had regular tests throughout pre-season with Toulouse.

Peats, on the other hand, has been a 'free agent' for a few months now and thus would not be required to conduct regular tests.
