According to RL Express this week - Cameron Pitman has picked up a groin injury and is waiting to see a Specialist.
We have waited a long long time at Leigh for a management team that have the strategic vision that these guys possess. They are clearly also ready and able to respond quickly to situations as and when they arise.
I sincerely hope we can make it into Super League this season as the management team are, without any doubt, doing everthing in their power to make it happen.
In the meantime we need to continue to enjoy a great ride and to trust the management team in their decision making.
Best wishes to both Cameron Pitman and Michael Platt for speedy recoveries from their injuries.

He has to be better than what Leigh have at present otherwise it's either a sideways or even a backwards step.

I can't see the management getting it so wrong.

Getting back to this new signing, I'm not knocking the bloke or his signing for the Club, all I'm saying is he could turn out to be just an average player, I hope not though,and like everyone else I look forward to seeing him.Tom Armstrong took a bit of stick on Sunday from some Leythers , but for me the guy is one of my favorite players , he is class,the Club seem to be fully committed to signing players when they think they are needed and we must commend them for this,the season will get much harder in the coming weeks and we MUST be ready to compete.

It will be interesting to see how he goes. Rowley is usually pretty good with his player purchases, not always but usually good, so saying that i'll trust pr to of done his reasearch.

Hello Leigh fans.I have seen M.Pala on several occasions and here is my opinion of him.In attack he is very impressive.If you look up Morgan Escare's wonder try at Wigan last year you will see Pala at his best.But-and I know you have guessed this was coming-like most French backs he is very poor under the high ball and his defensive positioning often leaves him in no man's land or joining a 3 or 4 man tackle for no good reason and with bad consequences . That is why he rarely and rightly starts at Premier League level.So I think he will be a very good signing for you at your current level of domination,but you should reassess if you get promotion.

Thanks for the report..The thing that stands out for me is the amount of game time hes had (or rather not had) that couldn't have helped his confidence or his game.Time will tell I suppose.

I think Greg needs a rest. One of our most consistent performers. Not one of his best games yesterday though. Plus he took 2 late hits. Seems to get them every game. Give him a week off. Our squad is big enough.

When PR said he would be contending with Armstrong and Greg I assume he meant Worthington and not McNally.

I'm a big fan of Gregg, think he's one of our best players but as you say when we are resting players and he does always take a lot of off the ball and late hits, looked to be in a lot of pain yesterday quite early on in the game. Would give Renyolds a chance to show what he can do at full back or allow Higson to get some game time without dropping Pownall. Suppose only Paul & the players themselves know who could use a rest and who doesn't need one really though.
