I have no problem with the stewards at the LSV they follow the instructions they have been given. I feel however that in this instance they may have misinterpreted what they were told on the subject I have brought up.

I prefer sunday, but me and salfordlad got our RL fix by going to watch Halifax v Whitehaven, mind it was to one sided for my liking, beer was good and had a great time with the fax fans

I couldn't make it, was down in Manchester at Comic-Con most of the day but I wouldn't mind Sat night normally.

As Lynda said if we get promoted we could be playing almost any day of the week so people will have to get used to it anyway. Unfortunately TV coverage is king if we want the investment from Sky.

I want to pick Marwans brain about his Ebor runners at York .Getting back to the thread subject , I prefer Sunday afternoons , but I did enjoy the Saturday Night experience ,I don't think it made much difference to the crowd size though .At least the BOM have tried to please folk .

Well I know 5 members of my family would have been there on Saturday but they are on holiday and I suspect other absentees were on holiday too.

Ifs buts and maybes, not always a good way of analysing it as when they attend the worky game 5 others may not be able to. Nothing wrong with Saturday night in my opinion its the weekday nights as the M6 from Stafford is not the best way to make an evening game in time

Saturdays for me, it wasn't a rush getting out the game copies to The RFL, The coaching staff, to Wigan and LC TV plus the reserves and Leigh Miners, nice relaxing(ish) Sunday. But having 3 games to cover was a bit rushed - thanks to our Dave for filming the reserves.

Must admit Sunday for me every time, but if I am off work will still go no matter what day or time.

For purely selfish reasons I like Saturday evenings in summer. My daughter goes to gymnastics on Saturday aft so most of the day is take up anyway; if we then play Saturday night it leaves all Sunday to do something as a family.

Of course, I suppose the opposite view of that one, is that there could be folks who have commitments on Sunday morning and prefer a family day out on Saturday.

...or even Friday nights would give both Saturday and Sunday for time with the family.

I quite enjoy the early evening Saturday games, no particular rush and plenty of time later in the evening for folk to enjoy Saturday nights as they please.

I don't mind switching to Saturday evenings in the Summer months.

However it's not about me. A quick look around the ground on Saturday and I thought there was an increased number of young people in attendance. If Saturday suits young families more then I am all for it.

After all, they are our future.

I thought we'd have got a few more in but it looks like a few hundred less than if it had been Sunday.
I know a few who would have gone on the Sunday but missed Sat, but having said that Im sure others could say the exact opposite..........The Jury's still out on this one.

I am intrigued what their plan is for the Worky game. The plan is to have all 4 sides open.

Did you ever read about the good old 'press gangs' of the 17th, 18th and 19th Centuries? I believe the plan is based on them!

We have been doing this for our Poker Nights on Tuesdays for a few weeks now .
