If Doran hadn't have tackled Calvert then he was under the sticks, the winning try came from bad positional play by Vark and Flynn.

Saying they are part time is an easy way to justify their performances and it serves to calm down the fans....a little bit anyway

To be fair i thought Duffys inside passes were very unpredictable and hard for the defence to read. I could swear at one point i saw a Haven player have to actually put down his pot of tea to make the tackle after a Duffy drop off ball.

I think we are having trouble getting the part-timers to match up with the full-timers. Instead of just carrying on training during the day and having certain players miss training sessions, I think we'll try more evening session and get everyone training together.

To be honest, we should have seen it coming - everytime a club tries to run a mixed full-time/part-time squad they run into trouble. I believe we had trouble with it back in 2006 and Doncaster in 2007. Would I be right in saying Leigh also had a few issues with it the other year too?

It appears the only way you should run the playing squad is all full-time or all part-time - having a mix doesn't suit anyone.

Rubbish - we can't score close to the line often enough. It was the correct decision.

We are part-time with a few full time players. But that's irrelevant - you can't play behind a beaten pack and ours was demolished. It's a credit to the lads we got so close.

Fax are mix of part and full timers. I don't know how this affects the training though. I thought Haven got away with an awful lot last night but it's same old, same old when you play up there. Crowd ref the game and nothing else.

I thought the full-time players at fax worked in the community department in the day and trained with the rest of the squad at night. Well that is how most teams work it anyway.

It`s worked all right for Fax these last few years ,I think the differance is on where your full timers live.For eg Gannon I would think has to be one of their full timers and I would presume he has signed a contract that he trains during the day as he still lives in Halifax.I cannot see him doing the alloted community work during the day then training at night and traveling back to Fax after that. Might be wrong but I do know Black and Worrincy are local so they are expected to train with the rest at night.
