Back on topic - signing Hock might not be as risky as people think. We need to finish in the Top 4 - I don't think anyone seriously doubts that will happen, especially after two wins out of two. We therefore will have over a dozen games (once he finishes his suspension) to see how it goes before we get to the Middle Eights. If he does something daft and gets sent off in those matches then frankly it isn't really going to matter and he is out the door. What it comes down to is whether he is that extra piece of class that we will need to get into the Top 3 of the Middle Eight or 4/5 for the playoff - could be a calculated gamble worth taking IF the economics are correct. With perhaps 12,000 coming through the gate for the first two home games, you have to think there is room in the budget, and he might put a few more bums on seats. However, I wouldn't have Acton, Barlow and Hock on the pitch at the same time!

I would have them all on at the same time, would be hard to get at all 3.

That said I am confident that IF we bring GH to the LSV it will be on our terms, with a carefully crafted contract that takes into account the concerns many have raised. Our BOM and PR have shown themselves to be very astute when bringing in new players. I trust this will be no exception.
I wait with interest.

Having voiced my fears about signing Hock, I suppose it's possible that the opposite could happen - i.e. the family values and strong camaraderie at our club might just rub off on the guy, and make him feel valued.

Whilst I would still be opposed to signing him, once he does pull on the shirt (if he signs) then he would have my full support, just like anyone else who plays for our club.

Not many examples of the BOM and PR getting it wrong that I can think of. Alex Brown didn't work out as hoped but he was loaned out quickly. I did wonder if that was the right move initially but looking at where we are now for wingers, and watching him on the weekend, the decision to loan him out and ultimately move on is 100% on the money.

Nearly everyone in the game say he is a nice bloke off the field its just his aggression needs channeling correctly on the field and with the brilliant squad of blokes we have at the Club im sure he will find being part of a special band of brothers here at the Centurions a real feeling of this is where he wants to be and to finally cast away the demons that have been inside his yed .Leigh Centurions after a few weeks with these guys GH wont want to let anyone down Officials Players Supporters we are all special and he will buy into the brilliant family we have here..

We have only played 2 games as yet ,and Dixon will be more than likely in the 17 for the London game.We are far from being a rich team , just good management.

Harold I think you will find our Management has changed since our last money problems,we have had a fair bit of cash from the RFL for finishing top of the League ,and as you say our crowds are now on the up, keep an eye on the crowd for the London game.
