looking for things that are not there surely if Kelly isn't happy he will resign, why look for things that are not there, sure I don't think Kelly and Rowley see eye to eye on some things but as director of rugby Kelly is still in charge, he is taking the managers role as in football with overall control of coaching at the club with Rowley as 1st team coach, other teams do it quite successfully.

Seems to be some negativity on this thread, give the man a chance. He has the passion to take the club forward, lets hope this is reflected on the field and our standard of rugby improves. Lets all get behind Rowls instead of constantly slagging him off.

Well I live in the posh part of Salford so unless I post a rumour I usually make clear it is made up.

I am actually a fan of NK but I don,t have a problem with Paul Rowley.

What I still would like explaining to me in plain English is this.................if NK was head coach and isn,t now but is still in charge of coaching ? who decides on team selection and tactics and in case I am not clear who has the final say ?

The coach picks the team, the manager/director dictates policy and negotiates signings the coach wants, he also deals with the paper work, of which there is a surprising amount, if a club is wanting to run a successful 1st reserve, 18's and a scholarship now or in the future then the manager overees the whole, quite simple like a leadership structure in any organisation.

Technically speaking PR has total control of team selection and tactics.

With the amount of sheep attending LSV every other week we will have to higher a Sheppard.

Course you could say the same thing about other former coaches although they don,t do any paperwork for the club.

He's in a job though earning money for his family, if he went now he may never come back to rugby league again.

Suppose so needs must and all that but if he was really unhappy about PR being coach doubt he would stay though.

At the end of the day do we really care who the coach is as long as we're winning? Obviously it wasn't working the way it was so we've made a change. As long as we get back to winning ways asap we could have Mr Blobby running the team for all I care!

If it does'nt work out with PR in charge where do we go from there?

Would you expect NK to remain as DOR?

Would that be the end of PR's employment at the club or do you think he would he be found another coaching role with the reserves?

Do the board have the cash to find another decent coach?

Or is this how its going to be for at least the rest of the season irrespective of the results?
