Fev were battered Demon and decided to rough it up with elbows etc long before they assaulted Penky on the floor.
A poor call by the ref when he could have stamped it out when he didnt send the Fev 12? off after a deliberate late stiff arm on McNally sent out the wrong signal.

I wouldn't reprimand any of them for sticking up for their team mates - this club has unity and guts running right through it, please do not lose it.

Fine....its not cost us a game yet. Keep Calm and carry on then. So having a player sent off in a third of our league games is fine is it? Is there a problem with just pulling the offenders off instead of pumelling them back. Be interesting to see the fair play league if there is one.

Anyway well done team for the result, just learn how to box clever.

Mixed feelings about another sending off but you cannot let your mates get a thumping and stand there. PR has got a fantastic spirit running throughout this team of players and coaches and if it's all in then it's all in.
Ben Thaler had it sorted last week and did the same the other night. Stop the niggling and this sort of stuff is stifled. I can't wait for the next game. No work now till June 23rd so will be at all the games.

Most of our recent sending offs have been for "retaliation" when there's been a fighting involving every player on the pitch. Problem isn't our players it's referees not having the guts to just send off the players making the trouble and have to send one off from each team. Either way, it doesn't matter, what matters is another fantastic performance by the players away at Fev what will probably be the hardest game of the year.

Not a problem but prevented it no, allowed it to escalate yes. The indiscipline always come from the players not the ref.

I'd rather see team camerarderie and lose a man, than watch them all stand back and lose the victims respect and confidence.

Wow what a game & what a performance our boys did us proud once again the players, coaching staff, BOM, the fans & everyone involved with the club should be very proud of today & where us Leythers are right now

There is something wrong with the rules, when 2 players having a punch up get sent off and yet when a players gets pole axed by a cheap high shot right in front of the ref. the players goes unpunished and the incident put on report.
The high shot could break a jaw and he should have been sent off. The fight should have resulted in a sin binning at most.

No idea how anyone could have put that high shot on Gregg on report. Always though that on report was for when the incident wasn't seen by the officials. Are we really to believe that the ref AND neither touch judge saw Gregg make a break, run into open space then get taken out with an arm to the face with only the offending player anywhere near him? Decisions don't come any clearer than that one.

How the offending player didn't get sent off I don't know it was the most blatant red I've seen in a while

Nothing wrong with the rules, this was a case of the ref bottling it and not using the rule.

Leigh are neither a Dirty or indisciplined team , but they will not be intimidated by any team , the Instigator in the Punch up which resulted in the Sendings off , was Mendieka , he punched Penky while Sean was on the floor , and laughed , then it broke into a free for all .The McNally incident was a red card no doubt , but we played em of the park today , our pack was BOSS , special mentions go to Emmitt , Spencer , Wilkes and Acton , but for me Haggerty was MOM , this lad is superb , and will only get better .

That how I saw the fight too . Ref bottled it and if he'd have sent the Fev player off for the foul on McNally all the rest wouldn't have happened .
