Completely agree and actually think £14 was a very fair price for quite an enjoyable game. Do think that the club should be looking at the odd away friendly in future though if we make a loss on games like this.

Well the Quins fans made an effort to travel all the way from London as well as paying the £14. If the club were gauranteed 3/4000 every week then gate prices may drop a bit, unfortunately we are not

Absolutely no problem paying £14 or £16 normal match day- 2 weeks running for 2 FRIENDLIES for us is a bit costly, so we chose the Wire game. It's the folk that live on the doorstep who obviously don't want to pay £14 for a friendly who warrant your comments. A lot of Leigh people wouldn't go if entry was free - they're too busy watching W***n. Horrific to come back to Leigh and see W***n shirts on show around town. We do still support our home town team even if we live in a distant country!

We're in the dark age's when it comes to promoting the club. No advertising around town, in the local papers or the amateur clubs. And no ticketing promotions. I sure we can do better.

ATEOTD if people dont want to attend they wont - I didn't, and for the 1st time in a very long time I haven't got a season ticket either. But dont let that mean the club aren't making an effort - they are.

Only 100 less than Saints got for their game tonight, though!

Unfortunately, it won't get much better for a few weeks. The NRC group stages have never fired the enthusiasm, and with home games to come against Swinton and Sheffield, we'll be lucky to hit the 2,000 mark.

(No disrespect intended to either of those clubs, but they don't tend to bring many fans to us)

I think I may totter over to Warrington on wednesday and am definitely going to Salford on friday.

And its not that comfy. Hardly supprising they only got that crowd then.

For their opening SL game against Warrington, Saints are quoting these prices:-

North Stand - Adult £25; Concession £19
East Stand - Adult £20; Concession £14
South Stand - Adult £26; Concession £20

They are offering a £1.50 discount for early buyers. No mention of 'Junior' prices.

My concession S/T at Leigh looks an even bigger bargain now!

Thats 4hours pay for some people.
It makes my season ticket easily worth it.
In fact it makes me want to go and spend more money on merchandise.

They better have a decent season then because they won't pay those prices for mediocrity in St Helens. I don't know if it is because they are renting the Stobart but they should remember that their fans have to travel aswell. A lot of Saints fans could walk to the ground before.

Cheapest season ticket is actually more expensive than Wigan's top priced one as well!
