To summarise :-

The potential signing of Sam was brought to the domain namely by members of Leigh East

When talks broke down a statement was issued by Leigh

All the usual anti Rowley mob on here tried to blame the wrong person for the statement.

When educated on who did issue the statement the post takes a dramatic change to one wishing Sam all the best.

Interesting when people start to know the truth isnt it!!

As I said yesterday I trust Ian Millward to build a great team at Leigh.

So do I, lets get someone else to do the press releases in future

Ian's passionate and in hindsight he might think differently but I'd rather be with him than against him!

Maybe it will send a message out that you either want to play for Ian and join the journey with him or hire people to work on your behalf who annoy him and end up at a club that wont even have the same head coach by June

But at least they`ll have a brand new stadium in 2025, thats if the lads not retired by then.....

I seem to remember the St Helens coach of a few years ago being such a loose cannon that he got fired.

we all know about Mr Murphys alleged misdemeanors but he's still one of the best motivators that ruled a rugby field and certainly the best ever half back.

I was going to say that I'm not sure Murphy actually coached any team but he certainly dished out some cracking rollockings and got the best out of many a team. (allegedly)

Have a look at our honours list and come back and tell me he wasnt our best ever coach/manager call him what you like!

I don't see any problem with the way Mr Chairman, Leigh East or Leigh Centurions have acted at all in any of this. The only person I have a problem with is the lad who has strung all of them along. Let him go to where he wants I hope he struggles in the reserves fro now on and has to come back to amature RL with his tail between his legs. And yes I am very bitter.
