4 friendlies tba according to paper this morning. 3 v SL and 1 v championship.

I attended the players meeting on Saturday (video and interviews to follow on LC TV later) there are 4 friendlies planned but not yet finalised, details will be announced when available.

Hope it is played in Leigh as I can get there and back quicker.

Last year we we're mega skint so were unsure if we could even get a team out, this year we're mega rich so I can assure you we'll be there.

Many a true word ....

We discussed it on our board and the majority concurred that we would have liked to have played Leigh at our ground and given you 100% of the gate monies, which is the least we could do after the fiasco we endured at the end of our previous ownership.

Whilst you might think what happened has been swept under the carpet (we include the outstanding training fees owed too) it certainly hasn’t been forgotten by the fans.

I was wondering the other day, did you ever get the framed piece of turf from the Willows that people paid for?

Or play it at the LSV and keep 100% of the gate monies from a much bigger crowd

Eh? You go on like your gates are good, even in our near extinction season with a team knocked up out of dribs and drabs we still averaged at least 1000/2000 more than Leigh.

LSV with the gate to us would be a great gesture after last season imo, the undersoil heating also ensures the game goes ahead

Your games were against Leeds, pies etc, ours against Sheffield, Swindon etc....

Swindon always bring a big following to be fair

Even against London we got over 2000.

First ever game at the LSV, Leigh v Salford, 4,500 sell out. Care to remind me on the crowd of the first ever game at your place?

Be fair Matt a good % of Salford's home support follow them away.

Good shout Maurice, would love to see that happen. It's the least we could do after last year, granted it had nothing to do with Marwan Koukash but even so.

I hope it's played at LSV I love going there, brilliant stadium and good rugby town.

(H) Sunday 19th January vs Wigan (full strength Wigan team)
(H/A?) Sunday 26th January vs North Wales Crusaders
(H) Friday 31st January vs Salford (full strength Salford team)
(H) Sunday 2nd February vs Warrington (fringe and U20's players for both sides?)

Dates to be announced vs Halifax and Oxford. Don't know if they're first team or Under 20's games or if they're home or away?
