Train from Toulouse to Carcassonne is 12 quid, Carcassonne-Limoux is only 15-20 miles away so should be reet in a taxi or bus.

went to estartit in spain in 90, left wigan at 10:30am and breakfast nr carcossone at 8 the following morning, never again travelled all night

I loved Estartit. Went when I was 18 but have never been back.

That's nowt!! Did Lido de Jesolo (just outside Venice) in a direct coach!! Left Atherton 09:30 Monday morning......arrived in resort about 32hrs later!!! Drove all night (less 'comfort' stops, breakfast in Switzerland, and xfer to Italian coach in a service station near Milan!!)

And went on to take the same holiday 3 years running!!! Gluttons for punishment maybe, but as we worked for the coach company, the holiday (17 days....3 travelling 14 in resort) was free!!!

Only went to Estartit because that one (Lido de Jesolo) was booked up.

Did you go to the caravan park with the little river by the side of it Fred?

the big one just outside Estartit, Castle Montgri I think it was called, had a good time our Andy was 5 whilst we were there, we were the first ones of the season.

Funny this chat Fred was looking at old photos with the familly the other night and there was one of dad fishing by the side of that caravan site. Budget Holidays I think we went with. A few years later we nearly got stranded in Corfu when they went bust.

Well my work colleague has a property in Limoux about 5 mins walk to the stadium, so if flights and leave are favorable then its a goer.....

Apart from showing off tell us something useful by asking him/her what Limoux is like to visit.

I'd rather know how many it sleeps, and how many tents can we get in the garden,

Has anybody found out what day the game is on,would be better if it was saturday.Found flights with ryanair going on thursday from liverpool to carcassone £15 and carcassone to leeds on the sunday £55.

Now that is showing off he's got his own Airline!

These prices are great if the game is on saturday,it cocks things right up if the game is on sunday.

Has he told you that story about when him and some mates went to see the former Leigh RU club steward who had taken over at Golborne golf club ?

In case not they where all chatting in the bar and the stewards phone rang.The bloke calling said"is that the steward?" He said yes and the bloke said'"Bring the first aid box to the course immeadiately" The steward asked why and was told a lady member had been hit with a golf ball.The steward said where it had happened and was told between the first and second holes. He was a quick thinker and immeadiately replied' "I don't think we have a plaster big enough."

That would be about right Frank! He's not been yet this season he says its becasue SL is ruining the game, the real reason is that he's VERY careful with his money haha.

Just had an e-mail saying that Limoux are considering moving the game to the Sunday - was literally 10 minutes away from booking my flights based on a Saturday game as well!!

Sunday game would royally fook things up flight-wise, so hoping they stick with the Saturday.

Would really help, if they let us know when the offical date for the game is, for anyone who wants to book it.

I know the club are working on it and will let people know when it's arranged

Plenty of bars on the square and the main street ( about the size of culcheth) , a large beer is about the 5 euro mark but cheap as chips in the supermarket. Hopefully flying out thurs to tues with about 4 others from work so should be a nice stay in Limoooooooouxxx...
