The Tickle sin-bin was the correct call. You'd think someone of Tickles experience would learn that impeding a player from a 20m restart often results in 10 minutes. There's trying to gain a few seconds for your defence to set and having going down to 12 men which untimately cost you the game. At 20-0 up Leigh were always going to come strong at some point however your dicipline seems to be your biggest downfall. Best of luck for the remainder of the year.

Oh I'm sorry, I can't remember the exact details but I do remember a player getting 10 minutes for interfering with another player whilst he was trying to effect a quick 20m restart only a few weeks ago, I wouldn't have thought the exact details needed to be provided to simply prove that the rule does exist and has already been enforced, which is what you seemed to be suggesting.

Yes it was, it was given as a knock on in goal, hence a 20m restart. Tickle impeded BJB trying to take a quick tap. Correct call.

Nothing to do with the result, but BJB was embarrassing with his play acting. Tickle was walking backwards, Bishop goes for a 'quick play the ball' and on his 15m dash, just runs into Tickle. Our player did not move at all, our 'put the shoulder' in. For a winger, he's quite a big fella, so after going down like he's 'taken a bullet' he finally gets up after a few minutes. TJ did not wave his flag, or come on to the field of play at any time. BUT 'probably' because he'd been lying down so long, the Ref went over to the TJ, they had a chat and then gave a 'sin binning'. Tickle laughed at the decision, but us Leigh fans didn't. (The incident happened right in front of us) Ben 'Cheating' Bishop.

The referee clearly told the Wakefield player to hang fire on the quick tap . He ignored the ref tapped it and Tickle dragged him back. It was never a sin bin in the memory of man ! Leigh lost fair and square but the ref was woeful for both sides at times .
