About 2100 I reckon. It is only a friendly so a lot will give it a miss, especially the Wigan lot. Them sending a weakend side again doesn't help but a lot of Leythers will balk at paying £17 for a friendly as well.

It's a difficult one to gauge the attendance. Wiganers are already grumbling at the admission price. Nowt new there. They have grumbled at prices for as long as I can remember.

I will be there at the match as well as my mucker. My next door neighbour (A family with 3 kids) has said he would like to take his kids to see Fui Fui but after Christmas and before pay day he does not have a spare £50 for tickets. I suppose not many do these days?

Despite the opposition, the attendance for a friendly if I may be perfectly frank is irrelevant. The one to target is the big one against Bradford Bulls and it is one we should have and deserve to have a huge vociferous crowd.

We can get 8,000 fans in for this. I am perfectly confident that figure is achievable and it is a match I am personally 'selling' to all and everyone who crosses my path.

I think it is a touch expensive for a friendly but at least its free for accompanied children which makes the cost a little better.
Having said that those Leythers who just need to pay for 1 ticket may turn up in numbers as its got the Moimoi factor and will be against the old enemy

I agree with Senile Tony. The club should have ordered 10 times the amount of stock on a whim. Who cares if it's a financial gamble, ignoring the sensible spending plans of our Financial Director. It's not my money the BOD would be risking, so who cares! I think the Directors should stick their hands in their pockets again and take the risk themselves instead of giving Senile Tony and I the opportunity to have a hood moan.
